Trying To Take My Mask Off

My dream came true but I'm not happy. I became a legend in the entertainment world, and everybody knows me. But I sacrificed too much to stand here. I don't even know myself anymore. If you ask me what my biggest regrets are. It is that I don't know myself anymore, that I don't feel what I used to feel, that I don't know what makes me happy, that I'm now almost like a robot. It would be nice if I could change myself. If I could just turn back the time or go to another world, it doesn't matter what, if I could do it I would. And then I would change myself and search for what I want and become a person again. The girl smiled and said: "I'll give you a change." [Will you take this change and change yourself or will you stay the same? I really hope you'll change and be happy this time.] ---------------------------------------------- A boy who achieved his dream but felt alone met a girl who gave him a second chance. Will he be happy this life? ____________________________________________ THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW: English is not the language that I speak normally. Extra 4.6_POV Melissa

I cycled fast to the place where I meet up with my best friend to go together to school. We always go to school together because our homes are close by and in the same direction.

After five minutes I finally arrived at the meeting place, and yes, my friend, Lilyann, was already there waiting for me.

"I'm sorry that I'm late!", I said quickly while we were now cycling together.

"It's fine", she answered but she didn't end her sentence there: "So... Why were you late this time?"

I felt betrayed!

"I'm not always late!", I shouted back: "Don't forget that you were always late the year before!"

Even when we were in the middle school, we always cycled to school together, and back then she was always late!

She only rolled her eyes when she heard me talking about the past: "That was the past. Now I'm different."

Lilyann sounded so confident and sure of herself that I couldn't help but expose her: "Yeah sure, says the girl who was almost ten minutes too late the week before."

You guys don't know how fast I was pedaling on that day. If I can I don't want to be late at school. When we come late, they will give us a note where they'll wrote that we were late at school. This note needs to get a signature from you parent.

That's not the worst.

If you are three times late, they'll except you to be at school at 8 o'clock. School only begins at 8:30! Not even one day but a full week! That's just too much! I only leave home at that time, and sometimes not, hehe...

When you aren't at school at that time, you'll get detention. I don't want both! So, I'll just come to school as they except!

"Lily! Mel!", we just entered school when we were warmly greeted by a friend of us.

"Hey, Alice!", I said: "Still as early as ever."

"You're just late!"

Alice lives farther from school than us, but even then, she always arrives first. That's actually normal if you ever saw her cycling. She's so fast! I almost died when I tried to cycle with her pace!

She's a beautiful, smart and kind girl! We only know her a year, but it feels I knew her for my whole life. I didn't except anything else when I heard she passed the exam of this school, but when I heard I passed I thought it was a joke.

Alice is as tall as Lilyann. That means she is taller than me! Why is everybody taller than me! Humph!

You know, she dyed her hair, again. Can you guess which color? No? I'll help. She dyed it in a Sky blue color. She didn't dye it fully but only half. Above you can see her original hair color, Beaver. Her hair comes till her chest. Her eyes have a Café au lait color. Alice wears glasses just like me. She wears black round frames that compliments her white skin.

"I'm sorry that we don't cycle as fast as you.", Lilyann said while we put our bicycles away.

"There's no need to be sorry.", Alice answered back: "It's not your fault that you guys are slow."

"Yeah, yeah.", I said while rolling my eyes because this wasn't the first time, she said this. Not that it wasn't true, but I heard it enough for now.

"Oh, hey guys!", from afar came a girl running: "I was searching for you everywhere."

"Really?", I questioned her.

It's obviously a lie. She lives here five minutes from and leaves her home only when the bell almost goes. So, it's obvious she only arrived a minute ago or something.

I bet she only gets up at 8 o'clock. I'm so jealous!

"This time I really left home earlier!", she defended strongly.

"Why did you than come from that direction?", Alice said while pointing at the school gate.

Good job, Alice!

"That's-"

"Don't try to deceive us, Celine.", Lilyann said.

"Okay, I just arrived. Happy?", Celine said while pouting.

Of course, I was happy! I once again won in a battle! I'm amazing.

Celine is smaller than, not me!, than Lilyann and Alice, but sadly taller than me. She stands between us, you know. Celine has short Coffee hair that reaches her shoulders with a pair of Ash Brown eyes.

"Lily!"

Suddenly a girl hugged Lilyann from behind. The girl was taller than us all. She had the same Coffee colored hair as Celine, but she has beautiful Chocolate-colored eyes.

"Hey, Lenora!", we said.

"Hey, guys!", she replied with a smile that slowly changed in a smirk: "You don't know what I just saw."

"What?", Lilyann asked curiously.

"I just saw a new hands-", before she could finish her sentence the bell rang.

*RING* *RING*

"Tell us! What did you see.", I asked enthusiastically. I want to know what she was going to say!

"But we need to go to class.", Lenora only answered.

"I don't care! Tell me!", I said: "Now I really want to know!"

"Yeah, me too!", Alice and Celine added.

"HAHAHA!"

"Why are you laughing?", Alice asked puzzledly.

"It's a secret! I'll tell you guys in our breaktime."

"You're so mean!", I wined when I heard the answer I saw coming.

"Live with it.", Lenora replied while walking to her class.

Lilyann who was the whole time silent suddenly said something: "Yeah, live with it."

"Aren't you curious?", Celine asked.

"Of course, I am.", she answered without missing a beat: "But wouldn't I be able to get it out of her between the classes? We are in the same class, you know."

"That's just not fair!", I shouted.

"Melissa, Melissa, Melissa, the world isn't fair, you know?", Lilyann said this almost like she spoke to a small child.

I'm not a small child!

Before I could say something back, she already followed Lenora to their class while we sullenly went to our own classroom.

I hate this day already!

That's why if there are mistakes that need to be corrected you can tell me. I don't bite!

But aren't you guys proud that I'm updating a lot because I am!

I think that's it. If I forgot something, I'll add it after work.

See you guys in the next chapter!
