The Revelation

The three of them began the pursuit. Gasping for breath, Marinette ran through the immense streets of Paris. She turned into a dark alley and hid behind a dumpster. Hawkmoth and Mayura rounded the street corner but did not see their target. Exployo panted as he caught up with them. "You've gotta slow down guys, my legs are killing me." "We've lost her" Mayura said. "Is this why you called me?', Hawkmoth jeered, 'To chase a mere schoolgirl because you aren't competent enough to catch her yourself?!" "Hawkmoth I can explain" "No excuses this time!" "Hawkmoth I know who Cat Noir is" Hawkmoth paused thinking for a moment. "Well this was unexpected but just as well tell me who he is." "Sir he's your son Adrien." Hawkmoth was in utter disbelief. "My son, Cat Noir? All this time?" Hawkmoth realized why his son was so secretive when it came to his injuries earlier when he met him at the house. "I suppose I should go and talk to him then." Hawkmoth sighed. "Mayura, don't let Marinette get away. I am sure she is Ladybug." "We will catch her" Mayura said. "You'd better, I can't afford to fail this time." Hawkmoth departed for his residence. Marinette pulled out her cellphone and called Master Fu. "Marinette what's going on? Why hasn't the supervillain been defeated? Where's Cat Noir?" "Master I uhh… I need some help could I stop over at your place." Marinette stammered. "I am very busy today, but I was hoping Cat Noir would stop by with you, I need to talk to him." Master Fu said with a smug grin forming on his unsettlingly pale lips. "He's not with me at the moment and I don't know how to find him." "He's not answering your calls? Too bad so sad, he must not be transformed. I will give him a call myself." "Master wait I was gonna..." Master Fu hung up on Marinette. "Ugh! Does he even care about me?" She began to hear footsteps approaching.
