True Slytherin

In a dark void, there is a white light standing motionless creating a rather unique contrasting picture of black and white like many bloody Gryffindors think. They really see the world as black and white with their hero complex rather seeing its true essence, the grey. The white entity is lost in its own monologue and start going down the memory lane of his rather amusing yet tragic life, at least he think so.

Draco Lucius Malfoy born in the most noble and oldest magical families of Great Britain. He was one lucky chap born with a silver spoon, dashing looks, graceful parents and a noble heritage. His father Lucius Malfoy although not the Minster but even the minister trembles in front of his power and authority. The Malfoy family never takes the front of the stage. After all life is but a stage and the Malfoy family always like to manipulate the incidents in the background. His mother is also no less then his father. Having come from the most noble and ancient Black family, Narcissa Malfoy (nèe Black) is an opitome of a pureblood and noble lady. While he has learnt to see his house glory and politics by his father, it was his mother who taught him to manipulate and learn people's mind by their expression. The etiquette and grace befitting for a noble like him was also imparted by her. Now coming from such great and noble lineage, of course there were huge expectations on him.

He has idolize his father since childhood and had always strived to become someone like him, someone his father can take pride in. He thought that his time to shine has come when he received his Hogwarts letter. He is also excited to see the great Harry Potter/ the boy who lived and he hoped that they become good friends. Although he is a half blood but still the Potter family is also an ancient and noble family. His father also hoped the same (oh how naive he was, he really wanted to knock some sense into his younger self). But things did not go as planned, Potter refused his offer of friendship and instead chose Weasel(my bad, years of habit it's actually Ronald Weasely), youngest son of the Weasely family; the blood traitors, that impoverished family who spew out children like those muggle guns. And further those two brickheads are joined by Hermione Granger, the bossy know-it-all mudblood(oh sorry muggleborn, bad habits die hard you know)who has never let me achieve first place in my seven years of Hogwarts. Together they become the 'Golden Trio' of Gryffindors and the pride of Hogwarts. Of course our Headmaster Albus Dumbeldore also played a key role in propaganda of his cubs. Seriously if I ever hate a man less then that snake face psychopath then it would be this old bastard. He manipulated all of us including Potter to make him a hero at last. He has not stopped the cornering of Slytherins all these years. If he had done so who knows how many Slytherins do not choose to be death eaters. But no he has always prioritised Potter, the whole Slytherin can be sacrificed for Potter. Heck I can bet even if it was Weasely then also his stand remains the same after all we are all snakes, future death eaters, dark wizards etc who are not worth his precious time(which he spent on making Potter a hero for years) and he justified himself by that 'for greater good' shit.

And like Dumbeldore always wanted, Potter had defeated that bald bastard alongside us, the death eaters also become the sacrifice for the greater good of course. We who don't have a choice, to keep us and our family safe become the villains who get defeated by Saint Potter with the holy guidance of Dumbeldore and his sidekicks. After that we are sent to Azkaban, our properties are snatched, history remember our names as the vilest scums who looted,*****,killed innocents and were the minions of devil's.

My father died in Azakaban after a month. That man had been already in frail condition from all this mess. After some time I got news that my mother had committed suicide in depression and solitude, maybe guilt too. The prestigious and noble Malfoy family is all over, haha...

I don't know how long I suffered in those haunting memories and my lonliness but suddenly I started to get severe migrane attacks. I tried to talk to warden for a medical checkup but he just sneer at me and kicked me. The only response I get was, 'Do you think you are still that cocky Draco Malfoy who gets everything on his whim by Daddy's money. Get lost Deatheater'. I forgot how much I am being hated,I smiled wryly. After that the headache got worse and when he saw that there is something serious, then I got hospitalised. I got informed that I have brain tumor and have less then a month to live. If I got checked up early, maybe I got saved. But there are no Ifs. Personally I am glad that I am dying, there is nothing for me to live for. I will be out of my misery in a month and I can meet my parents again away from this hell.

And 1 month later, I drew my last breath. I am not afraid of dying as I have already face far worse. Rather I am in anticipation of my relief and now here I am.
