Chapter 2 Blackmail

Alex approached Candice's door and knocked it twice.

Knock Knock

'My villain story starts now' Alex thought with a smile on his face, It quickly disappeared seconds later as he heard a voice for the inside.

"ONE SECOND" a female voice came from inside the house, he know that the owner of this voice is Candice.

A few seconds later the door opened revealing one of the most beautiful women he have ever met.

"Hi Miss Candice" Alex said awkwardly as he rubbed his Head.

"Alex, what brings you by" Candice

"I am here to ask miss Candice a question?" Alex asked shyly.

"Huh" Candice was surprised Seeing Alex shyness

'does he like me?' Candice thought as she looked at Alex, who was trying hard not to make eye contact.

Candice sigh, She wasn't new to young men confessing to her, But she never thought that Alex would do it. One had to know, other than a few looks now and then, nothing indicates he had feelings for her, Only a slight amazement by her appearance is all she got from Alex's expressions from in the past.

"Ofcourse, what is it" Candice asked whiles looking Alex in his eyes. Trying to see through him.

Alex look back at her and said slowly in a shy tone.

" Well.." Alex look straight back into Candice eyes.

Somehow candice find herself blushing waiting for Alex to finish his sentence.

"I'm 2 times his age how can he make me blush" Candice thought as she continued listening to Alex question.

"well you see, i want to ask miss Candice If she is ever going to tell melisa she's adopted, also about what you did with your ex husband" Alex asked innocently.

"What...This" Candice couldn't believe what she was hearing. She didn't tell anyone those things so how does alex know.

'How does he know about that' She looked at Alex only to see that his shyness was gone, all that remained was a sadistic stare.

Alex Smiled sadistically he as he look at Candice "Your daughter melisa, Has a big game coming up, I wonder how will that affect her, knowing she is adopted and her mom is a murderer"

"Hahahh" Alex

After looking at Candice changing expressions, he couldn't help but laugh. he laughed so much tears came out of his eyes.

"Relax" He said whiles patting Candice her shoulder. Which caused her to move back slightly.

"It..was..s'nt..my fault" Candice struggle to say.

"It wasn't your fault it was an accident right" Alex

"I...had..no...choice..he was..going..to..kill...me" Candice tried to held back tears, memories of that day started flashing in her head.

20 years ago, she had a man that she loved with all her heart, she remember loving him so much that she would tell herself, she would kill for him.

In a apartment

A young man and women were having a conversation.

"Candice, you sure you don't wanna stay at my apartment" the young man asked, he has slightly muscular build, chiseled jawline and deep blue eyes. he was to much for any woman to handle.

"I can't Steven, you know Emy gets worried" A woman replied, she was beautiful with and S shape body, any man women would kill for and any man would kill to be with.

"okay, well atleast let me drop you off at your appointment, with all the missing students lately" Steven said with a serious Expression.

Seeing the care and concern steven had for her Candice couldn't help but kissed him. After that they both exit the apartment door.

They made it to the car, so they both got inside.

In the car, they body Put on there seat belts, as they both smiled at eachother. When they both, were sure that there seat belts, were on steven got ready to drive, but before he could Candice stopped him.

"Wait there, I think i forgot my text book, in your trunk last week, can you pop the trunk?" Candice asked, she need the text book, because she wanted to study, this weekend.

"No problem" Steven agreed, he then press the button that opens the trunk of his car.

Candice undid her seat belt as she walk to the back of the car.

Candice made her way to the trunk, she then lifted the trunk door. After one 2 seconds she spotted her text book.

"Ahh there it is" Candice said lightly, He bent to pick it up, but she notice a duffle bag next to it.

Hmm, what's this?

Curiousness got the best of her of, so she opened it.

What was in the bag confused her, there was a hammer, some black clothes, and a mask.

'Why does he have these things?' Candice thought. She was shocked by what she found only, to be shocked out of it by Steven's voice.

"CANDICE EVERYTHING GOOD BACK THERE" Steven called out.

"Nothing be there in a second" Candice responded

What she saw in the bag, made her panick. So in order for steven not to notice, she fixed it, to how it was, so that steven wouldn't notice.

She closed the trunk and with her text book in hand, went back to the passenger seat of the car. She didn't say anything, just sat there.

Noticing something was wrong steven eyebrows raised, so he asked " Hey Candice you sure you good?"

"Yes, I'm fine" Candice replied with a forced smile.

"Okay if you say so" steven responded, but Candice didn't notice that, his face darken, every second as if, slowling realizing something.

Steven started the car, he drove to the main road, to get to the dorms it's only 7 minutes by car so he didn't drive fast.

"What, use did he had for those things? he build stuff so a hammer I guess, is right to have but, but all black clothes and a rabbit mask"

Candice just looked at the road, as she contemplated what she just found, if she remembered correct, the female victims where all hit in the head with a blunt object.

"No way, what am I thing" She couldn't believe that, the man she live could do, something so horrible.

Her face darken as, her thoughts got the best of her, she couldn't take it anymore.

"Hey Steven!"

"Yes"

"Why do you have all those weird things in a duffle bag in the trunk?"
