FURIOUS THUNDER BULL

Just as Luo Tian was about to wake up the Furious Thunder Bull Juewang warned him. "Husband there's someone making their way here fast. It's a Profound Master 6th rank, he's coming from behind you." Said Juewang Telepathically.
Hearing her warning Luo Tian shifted his attention away from the sleeping bull and turned around. " I already dealt with the Zhou Family elder so this must be brother Yangqun, let's see what he wants." Said Luo Tian as he sheathed Juewang and sat on the ground.
-- Soon After --
*Whoosh*
The sound of tree leaves being pushed by wind sounded as a male figure emerged from the forest.
" Little Brother I've been looking for you the whole day. " Spoke the figure which once having left the shadows of the trees was revealed to be Song
Yangqun.
Luo Tian smiled a bit seeing that it truly was Song Yangqun however since it was him Luo Tian reverted his cultivation back to the 2nd Profound Master rank. "I've been hunting beasts the whole day and night so I've been moving around quite a lot, it's not surprising that you couldn't find me easily." Said Luo Tian .
Even though he heard Luo Tian talking he was more focused on two things, one was the shriveled up corpse of Zhou Hengran and the sleeping beast not far from them. "Little Brother are you the one who did this?" Song Yangqun questioned as he pointed to the headless shriveled up body of the Zhou elder.
Luo Tian didn't even look over at the body. "Yes it was me, he underestimated me so he wasn't serious allowing me to kill him easily however if he was serious I may have been in trouble. He was trying to wake up the 4th rank beast behind me to kill off the Luo Family disciples, I still have to make as much profit as I can using these guys so I couldn't allow him to do it." Luo Tian explained as he stood up from the ground.
As much as he intended to treat the Song family as his proper family he still needed them to prove to him that they deserved his trust so he wasn't going to expose all his power to them.
Song Yangqun was surprised that Luo Tian could kill someone 3 ranks above him but he attributed it to all his strange abilities and shrugged it off. "I see, little brother truly has become quite fearsome. Anyway I have been looking for you to tell you that we have finished arranging all the money to bet on you and ask when you think they will make you fight." Said Song Yangqun since he wanted to get straight to the point so as not to interrupt Luo Tian's hunting much.
Luo Tian thought for a few moments before he came to a decision. " 7 days after the hunting contest. I'll make sure that it happens at that time. I have things to do after the contest that's why it can't be any earlier than that."He was hoping that by the time the hunting contest is done then his eagles would have found the clan he was looking for.
Considering the time he needed to travel to them and back here plus time to deal with any high rank beasts that he wanted he gave a rough estimate of the time he would need.
Song Yangqun nodded in understanding. " Okay I'll tell Yannan what you said. What are you going to do about the 4th rank beast behind you?" Song Yanqun was curious since Liu Tian didn't look like he had any intent to leave the place.
Luo Tian grinned at the question. "I'm going to kill it of course, in fact I need to kill this big guy, it took me forever to find a 4th rank beast so I'm not about to let him go." Luo Tian said determinedly.
Song Yangqun's eyes widen in shock hearing what he said. "Little Brother even if you have many strong inheritence abilities you can't rush such things. Even Profound Grandmasters have trouble dealing with 4th rank beasts. You're still a Profound Master so just wait until you're strong enough before you challenge the Furious Thunder Bull." Yangqun said trying to persuade Luo Tian.
Luo Tian shook his head as he responded. " Big brother I'm not so arrogant as to challenge something that I cannot beat. I'm sure 100% sure that I can kill it so no need to worry about me. I advise you leave the area soon because disciples have been following me around lately." Luo Tian warned.
Song Yangqun looked over him for a few moments before letting out a sigh." Sigh...Fine, I'll keep watch over you from a far from now on, even if you fail to kill it you should be able to run away since it's a slow beast so go ahead." As he said that Yangqun ran back into the forest.
When he left Luo Tian looked at the huge beast and thought to himself. ' I wanted to try fight a 4th rank beasts but you're just too slow to be able to help me develop fighting experience...so let's just get this over with.'
-- In His Head --
"Little wife, how much of my lightning do you think I can coat on your blade before you start feeling the effects?" He asked.
"You can use up to a quarter of its actual power, until I get strong enough that is the most I can handle without getting hurt." She replied.
"That's more than enough...just my power right now is about half of actual lightning so a quarter of it should be more than enough to fry this guys brain as long as I stab through his head directly."He replied.
"Be careful." She said as a reminder.
-- Back To Reality --
Luo Tian looked the 10 meter tall and 5 meter wide sleeping Furious Thunder Bull with a predatory gaze as he unsheathed Juewang.
He dashed around the beast to search for its head and finally after running around for a bit he finally found the large beastly head with its eyes closed.
He retreated 100 meters backwards from it to help him build up momentum for a single decisive stab through the skull.
Luo Tian looked cautiously at the sleeping beast as he spoke up. "Little wifey as soon as I stab through his skull suck as much as you can...I don't want to underestimate the tenacity of a 4th rank beast so finish as fast as you can."
" I'll take enough blood to kill it within 8 seconds so if the stab through the skull and lightning don't kill it within 8 seconds it will die of lack of blood." Juewang replied telepathically.
Hearing how much time she needed Luo Tian prepared for his attempted instakill. " Thunder God Mode 2nd Stage."
His body was almost instantly coated in his black lightning with it also coming out from the sides of his eyes.
*Crackle*
He coated Juewang in his lightning and concentrated it to form a solid violently vibrating layer of black lightning covering her whole blade.
Just as he was about to start his attack he realised that the beast had woken up. " Hoo..You finally woke up you pig, I'm afraid it's too late now."
Realising that he couldn't waste any more time Luo Tian put as much power as possible into his legs as he dashed forward.
*Whoosh*
Once again he left a trail of lightning and burnt ground as he covered the 100 meter distance within a fraction of a second.
Meanwhile, since Luo Tian used his Profound energy so close to the Bull this time it didn't go unnoticed as it's closed eyes jerked open revealing it's yellow beastly pupils.
In the instant it's eyes opened when it saw the source of the profound energy it fully released its own which caused thunder like sounds to resound throughout the Training Grounds and formed a dark cloud above the area around the beast itself which had yellow lightning flowing through it ready to strike down at its command.
*Rumble*
*Rumble*
Having prepared it's own technique to intercept Luo Tian it thought it would deal with him easily however.
*Puchi*
Luo Tian appeared right in front of its head out of nowhere and stabbed Juewang through it's skull.
*ROOOOAAARRR*
The Thunder Bull Roared out in pain as it felt Luo Tian's lightning coated Katana pierce its head, it could feel the immense heat it released and the electric feeling of it.
Even if it was also a Lightning attributed beast, faced with Luo Tian's black lightning the resistance it had for the element became useless.
It lifted itself off the ground with whatever power it could muster easily lifting Luo Tian off the ground along with it.
"Ugh.. I stabbed you in the brain die already!" Luo Tian shouted as he was lifted from the ground.
"3 seconds!" Juewang shouted soon after.
Hearing that it was almost time Luo Tian rapidly thought of a way to get to the ground since he was currently 10 meters in the air hanging onto the head of a raging beast.
*ROAARR*
'I have to do this...I hope I land properly since doing this will deactivate Thunder God Mode.' He thought as he came up with an Idea.
"Discharge!"
As he shouted that all the lightning that had been accumulated on Juewang's blade and in his body was shot forward into the Bull's body using Juewang's blade as a bridge which fried the beast inside out almost instantly.
*Crackle*
Having been fried beyond repair the Bull died instantly and fell back to the ground with a loud *Thump* causing a gust of wind which made fallen leaves float and bushes ruffle and the ground shake violently.
Meanwhile having been dropped down suddenly Luo Tian lost his grip on Juewang and fell backwards landing on his back with a thump and even rolling backwards a few times.
"Huff...Huff...Tenacious bastard my whole body is aching!" Luo Tian shouted as he laid down on his back looking at the night sky.
"Lets get the demon core husband." Juewang's figure appeared above him in her usual kimono looking down at him with a smile and her hair hanging down.
While Luo Tian was rolling on the ground she had been finishing off the remainder of the Bull's blood and once she was done she changed from her sword form back to human and made her way over to him.
Seeing her appear he smiled and sat back up. "Did you manage to breakthrough?" He asked anxiously.
"I did manage to break through after sucking every drop of blood it had but I didn't get any special ability like we hoped. Instead my sword has become multiple times heavier and sharper. Overall I've just become a better quality weapon." As she said that he could tell that there was a hint of helplessness and sadness in her voice.
He stood up from his seated position and pat her head with a smile. "Even if you didn't get any special ability the fact that you've become stronger is still true so it was still worth it." Said Luo Tian as he tried to cheer her up.
Juewang looked up at him and smiled hearing him cheer her up. She at first thought he would be disappointed especially since he was looking forward to it so much but now hearing that he didn't she was relieved. "Do you want me to open the first seal husband? If I do then it will permanently release part of my suppressive aura which once I've opened enough seals can break the will of anyone without having to fight them. All you have to do is unsheathe me for it to work, it's essentially like that aura of yours." She proposed
Luo Tian shook his head at her proposal. "Let's not unseal anything just yet. I'll tell you when you can now let's go get the demon core." As he said that he removed his hand from her head and dusted himself off then walked to the large corpse.
Juewang simply followed by his side maintaining a small smile.
-- Meanwhile During The Fight In The Hunting Grounds --
*ROOAARRR*
The Furious Thunder Bull's roar sounded through the whole Training ground causing sleeping disciples to jump awake and weaker beasts to frantically scatter as far away from the source as possible.
-- In one area of the hunting grounds --
"Oi Oi what kind of beast can roar like that?!" Shouted a disciple
"It sounds far so hope it doesn't come any closer." Said another one as he shivered in fear.
-- In another area of the hunting grounds --
" I feel bad for whoever is in that direction." Said a female disciple.
"I'm glad we didn't go there." Said another female disciple.
-- Back To Luo Tian --
Luo Tian sat on the ground with a football sized Demonic Beast core in his hands. " I wonder, if I use this to cultivate will my lightning get stronger?" He asked himself as he looked over the core.
Juewang sat silently beside him since she didn't know the answer too. " Nah...I'll leave this for Xue'er to use." Said Luo Tian. He sent the core into the World Crest soon after.
"Husband we've collected the heads of 287 beasts so far including those from during the day, why don't we go help Xue'er with her training, we can just continue hunting tommorow." Juewang proposed though in all honesty she just wanted to spend time with him in her human form.
"Sure let's go." As he said that he held her hand and pulled her into the World Crest but not before checking their surroundings.
