The sounds of chewing and slurping filled the area where 4 figures gathered.

*MUNCH*

*SLURP*

It had been at least 5 hours since they started hunting and they killed numerous demon beasts and decided it was about time to rest.

Luo Tian, Juewang and Xue'er are sitting by the entrance of a cave talking to one another while Feng Lei devours all the demon beast meat he collected for himself.

Since Juewang would devour the blood of all the beasts Luo Tian killed he didn't get the chance to eat much of them so Luo Tian told him to go hunt for himself in the opposite direction.

They marked trees around the area so they could come back to this cave to meet up.

"Profound Master 9th rank.....hehehe I can't wait to see what rank those guys are if they are able to make me rank up." Luo Tian was grinning widely as he anticipated the growth of his soldiers.

He had only cultivated to the Profound Master 8th rank yesterday so it was thanks to them that he went up to the 9th rank today.

According to what he observed he only receives up to 1/4 of the essence from whatever his shadows kill. Them being able to make him rank up gave him goosebumps when he though of how much they were growing.

From the cultivators he compared their strength to a Normal Rank soldier was in the Profound Pupil Realm while and Elite Rank soldier is comparable to cultivator in the Profound Master Realm and Profound Grandmaster Realm.

"The stronger ones must have gone deep into the forest. The smell of blood is thick in the deeper parts." Juewang said as she looked into the forest.

As a sword spirit that uses the blood of those she cuts to strengthen herself she is easily able to tell that deeper into the forest the smell of blood is quite thick.

"Mmm you're right...anyway I'm tired of finding only a 1st rank demon beasts they aren't worth it and worst part is they aren't worth making into shadows." Luo Tian frowned as he thought of the weak demon beasts he had been encountering.

He was hoping to find a number of demon beasts to add to his army and yet he was only meeting 1st rank demon beasts.

"Big brother let's go deeper into the forest, it won't benefit us to stay here any longer." Xue'er said as she stood up and prepaired to leave.

"Sigh...I didn't want to go in too deep yet since I was hoping that maybe Luo Lin would be able to find me..Tsk I'll kill him on the last day." Luo Tian stood up from the ground frowning.

He wasn't able to find Luo Lin in the crowd earlier so he didn't know where he was and was hoping Luo Lin would find him instead seeing as he was just wasting his time Luo Tian wasn't happy at all.

"Husband don't look so down you'll find him eventually." Juewang stood up and held his hand while trying to calm him down.

"Sigh...thank you little wife. Oh yeah how far do you think I am before I'm strong enough to handle you unlocking one of your seals?" Luo Tian looked over to Juewang with a curious look in his eyes since he was truly looking forward to using her properly.

"Once you stepped into the Profound Master Realm you already became strong enough to handle the first seal of power but im not going to unseal it just yet." Juewang replied with a serious expression.

"Why?" Luo Tian wasn't mad or anything like that though he was a bit sad but he knew that whatever she did was for his own good.

"With my powers unsealed I can be considered a fully grown Sword Spirit but by sealing my sword form powers I've become like a toddler that needs to grow all over again do you understand what I mean?" Juewang explained exactly why she wasn't letting him use her power yet with a calm expression.

Luo Tian's eyes went wide as he realised what she meant. "If I keep making you stronger while you have all your power sealed then when you do unseal them you will become a much stronger version of yourself....hehehe"

Whatever sadness Luo Tian was feeling moments ago was immediately replaced with a mischievous grin and great anticipation.

Juewang simply smiled at him as she changed to her sword form and attached herself to his waist.

Luo Tian looked over to Feng Lei who was lying on the ground since he finished eating and walked to Xue'er who had been patiently been waiting for them to finish talking.

"Xue'er let's get going....and Feng Lei get off your ass we need to get going." Luo Tian said as he walked deeper into the forest with Xue'er by his side.

"Burp..Young master wait for me!" Feng Lei shouted as he ran over to Luo Tian who was walking with Xue'er by his side.

-- After 1 hour of walking --

The three of them had arrived in a deeper area of the mountain were 2nd rank beasts were supposed to be numerous but they hadn't found a single one instead they found bones and the area wreaked of blood.

"I feel like we're being watched...." Luo Tian said as he stopped with the other two in an open area.

"I've been wondering why there were so many dead beasts around, whatever is following us must be the reason." Luo Tian commented as he looked around to try find it.

"Big brother are you sure? I don't sense anything." Xue'er said as she looked around the area confused.

It wasn't that she didn't want to believe him but no matter how much she stretched out her senses she couldn't find anything.

"Young master I can't sense anything too.." Feng Lei said

"Husband you're right there are two beasts following you." Juewang finally commented.

She already knew about the beasts but she wanted Luo Tian to train his instincts and senses as much as possible while they were here so unless it was absolutely necessary or he already found them she wouldn't alert him.

"Xue'er, Feng Lei come stand next to me." Luo Tian's sharingan was active the whole time so it didn't take him long to see the 2 pairs of yellow eyes that were staring at them.

The two of them did as he said without questioning him and they turned to him to see what he was going to do.

'That skill should be perfect...I'll freeze them all at once since they are hiding.' As he said that extremely cold air started gathering around Luo Tian but he made sure that it doesn't affect his two companions much.

He spent 4 seconds charging up his energy then finally released it all as he muttered.

"Four World Freeze"

The two pairs of eyes that had been watching them belonged to a pair of Scarlet Black tigers.

They were both high 3rd rank demon beasts on the verge of breaking through since they had been killing every 2nd and 3rd rank demon beast they came across.

They saw Luo Tian stop and got ready to pounce but they were stopped in their tracks when they saw his eyes land on them.

They didn't think he was able to find them since they had been following his group for the past 15 minutes and he never showed any signs of realisation so they stayed absolutely still.

The both of them felt their death was imminent the moment he started gathering the cold energy, but as demonic beasts it was normal to feel like that so they didn't pay any attention to it but little did they know they wouldn't live soon after.

As Luo Tian said the name of his ability the area in front up to a few hundred meters ahead of him was frozen down to the core within a split second.

"B-big brother!" Xue'er was shocked to see the area in front of them freeze so quickly causing her to grab her sword.

As for Feng Lei he was grinning stupidly at the frozen wasteland in front of him.

"Don't worry Xue'er I'm the one that did that..." Luo Tian pat her head to calm her down.

"Sigh..give us a warning next time.." Xue'er said relieved that it was him.

Though she knew that he had such abilities she never saw him use them to their full potential so she wasn't sure whether it was him.

"I will." Luo Tian said as he started walking to the thick bushes in front of them.

When he got there he punched through the frozen bush and revealed the two tigers that were frozen solid.

The two spectators eyes went wide seeing that they were actually being followed.

"Hehe Young master was right...we were actually being followed.." Feng Lei said as he scratched his head.

As for Xue'er at that moment she swore in her heart to get stronger.

'I can't stay weak while Big brother grows so strong...I'll only hold him back when we leave if I continue like this.' She thought to herself watching Luo Tian.

Meanwhile Luo Tian was holding his chin while looking at the two frozen beasts.

"They are technically dead so I should be able to make them my soldiers...they were able to hide from me for so long so I'm sure they aren't a low rank....either that or they specialize in stealth. Useful no matter what so let's just try it out." Luo Tian voiced out his thoughts as he looked at the two frozen Scarlet Black tigers.

"Arise" His purple eyes shone brighter as he muttered his command.

As Luo Tian said that the shadows of the two tigers soon emerged from their bodies in the purple and black colour.

"Both of them are just about to become elite rank..Good enough, both of you will hunt whatever you can find for the next 3 days I will call you when it's time to return." Luo Tian gave the two new shadows their orders and they immediately dashed into the forest again.

Luo Tian walked back to his two companions after sending the tigers away.

"From what I could tell from those two tigers in this area at most we will find a 4th rank beast and I bet it would be difficult to encounter one so Feng Lei I'll register you to that place then you go your own way, keep in mind the more beast essence that you eat you will get stronger but if your in danger immediately go into the that place understand?" Luo Tian said as he looked over to the large young man that was drooling at the thought of eating more beast meat.

"I understand Young master I'll do my best!" Feng Lei said.

Luo Tian touched his chest and muttered "Register"

"Now you can go Lei, in 3 days we will meet inside that place, don't worry about finding us during that period." Luo Tian wanted Feng Lei to focus on getting stronger and not worry about meeting up with them.

"I'll make sure to become strong young master." As he said that Feng Lei turned and started running off into the forest leaving the two of them behind.
