Afika was desperate. She was disorientated and had no idea how to get home. She couldn't find her group's bus. What the hell?
Tears began to fall down her cheeks. Afika was afraid to walk alone there at this time of night. She looked right and left, front and back. There was no one she knew. What if some prankster approached her?
Afika was frantic. There were so many bad thoughts that came to her and affected her at the moment. She was overthinking things. She thought Diaz and the tour group had left her.
"Diaz, where are you?" Afika sat squatting by the closed shop as she lowered her gaze.
"Hey, who are you? That's my space! Get out of my way!" a homeless man shooed her away.
Afika had no idea that her spot had been claimed by the homeless man. So, she immediately got up and moved. She was very confused. The only communication device she could rely on was low on battery and she couldn't use the charger.
"Which way should I go? Right or left?" Afika had a dilemma.
