Chapter 8 torture time, choices~
*BANG BANG BANG*
the one-armed soldier out of anguish and surprise began firing his pistol with his remaining hand the arrow rain from earlier took a chunk from his uniform and his potbelly while nothing essential was harmed it wasn't something anyone would like to see blood-covered fatty chunks dangling from the gaping hole of his side.
there was a burning feeling from his ear but now wasn't the time to check but the warm fluid that dripped from it to his shoulder already gave him an idea of what happened to it the arrow rain seemed to meant for torturing him first as after the first shot that claimed his right arm the rest seemed to leave a nasty cut or injury.
Kidou believed that this was done deliberately so he tried his luck trying to communicate with this bastard that attacked believing that it was another survivor.
The bodies of the group his platoon had been fighting against littered the area, there was a high chance that it may have been someone that held a grudge towards them judging from the condition of the bodies hell there was even a few that were made into art!
the only sad thing about Kidou's misconception was he didn't consider the fact that it was the very person he put a bullet in greed got the best of him and he arrived at the time when his target was slamming through walls and immediately tried to kill him as soon as the light from the armor was down he even waited for a bit and saw the flowing blood before making his way here.
he never thought of the chance that all of these men were killed by one person then again the pain and bloodloss wasn't helping him think properly as desperation to live made him frantic to try his luck he kind of knew went to stop even more so went dealing with a person that can kill him easily thus his words followed.
"I am sergeant Nakamura Kidou, of the 277th platoon! why are you attacking me? if you are a survivor I can direct you to one of our camps we can use someone of your skills, I know someone that can pay you handsomely for bringing me back alive!"
two thoughts came to mind for Kidou when given a chance if it was a regular person he will kill his attacker if they were alone.
if they were a group he could coax them into being his escort until they were in the sights of his soldier's M60, as he wasn't someone to forget a grudge that quickly, even more so for missing an arm and a chunk on his side that he was applying pressure on.
then if it was a female survivor?
that would be even better!
His dark thoughts were unbefitting for a man of the uniform but all his plans went down the drain as the metallic figure came out into the open with bow fully stretched and an arrow loaded aiming at him.
the heavy steps it made as it got closer brought fear to him unlike any other then a random thought came to mind trying to rationalize the situation as there was no sign of blood or injury "was there another one!?" or "was it a robot!?"
but out of instinct he raised his handgun only for an arrow to go flying and destroying the weapon from the amount of power behind the projectile!

Kidou clicked his tongue at the excessive speed and power of this individual!
then as if trying one last time to fight back he roared in defiance but the pain from his side made him flinch for a second, but that was all Jack needed, before using the buff to its full potential breaking the distance between them so quickly and with a spare arrow in one hand and the bow dropped to the side letting his other hand do the next action, slamming the man's head to the side before using the arrow as an anchor to hold the man in place through the cheeks, some of his teeth were crushed in the process!
The suit left him a little side task before shutting down something Jack didn't notice until claiming an arm.
From the mission objective, it was as if the suit had it out for the poor guy as Jack really didn't know the culprit that nearly killed him was the very man the suit marked, think of it as a measure the suit takes to set to any person that leaves a life-threatening injury as a nemesis for revenge for the host to claim as for whether this was a one-time thing or every time it happens only time will tell~

With being a gamer that wanted to maximize the upgrades on his powered suit that he finally has gotten his hands-on, so why would he give up on some bonus points?
thus the night was long for the sergeant that got too greedy, Jack imitated some of the ideas of games that he played before Wolfenstein had some good ones too, hammering the man's toes and fingers one by one was a fun one although there was a couple of times it was two in one, jack made the best of it since the man was bleeding heavily, then using the power of the suit to smash his limbs starting from the foot upwards on both legs and the remaining arm with his fists, the man was foaming by the end of the first limb but thanks to the gag it prevented him from biting off his own tongue!
but eventually, get completed all of the bloody tasks as jack discovered another side of himself while he wasn't ashamed it was still an eye-opener that he'll try to avoid until it was necessary again.
With everything done, Jack contemplated on the next upgrade more energy regen or cost reduction, or should he focus on other stuff as the other new option was intriguing as well, increased nanobot production but it required a hard drive at the same time, or even reduce nanobot cost for revival lessening the length of the downtime of the suit but it also requires a hard drive the size was several times more than the previous one the former required a gigabyte worth but the latter required a petabyte and 2 upgrade points...
time is of the essence and more and more things of this world can still kill Jack so what will he choose?
