Mr lover boy

I gasped as I fell to the floor. I was so shocked that I moved back in fear. An animal talking? That only happens in movies so seeing this was looking so unreal to me.

"Calm down, I don't know what's going on either. All I know is I woke up feeling completely different".

I was beginning to gather my composure. One good thing about me was that I didn't stay in shock for long, as a matter of fact, I barely get shocked but this was just too much for me to handle.

"so you're saying that you changed in appearance and suddenly you can talk?"

"What do you mean change in appearance?"

She asked and began walking towards the mirror in the room. As soon as she saw herself, she moved back in fright. It was obvious she didn't know her color had changed at all.

She stood for a while as though she was thinking about something and then, she looked really scared. As an animal, she sure knew how to show her emotions properly. Right now, I'm not sure I should be calling her an animal.

"No no no no no this can't be happening". I moved close to her and it appears she was really scared.

"What's wrong Jagi?"

"I have to leave. I have to go back to the forest".

She was moving all around the room like a confused old woman.

"Why would you say that? What about me? No forget me, what about Joo Ah? Don't you think she would be devastated? She has been crying all morning".

"That doesn't matter Suri, I'm running wild. I might wake up one morning and tear you all apart. I have to leave before that happens".

She began walking away but then, I blocked her part.

"I'm not letting you leave. If you really have to go, then you'll have to hit me first".

"You've always been annoying but I didn't know you to be stupid".

I ignored her comment completely.

"So what if you run wild? Joo Ah alone is strong enough to stop you and what, there are many elite men in this house and I've also been training I'll beat you in no time".

She sat on the floor looking depressed.

"I don't want to leave either. But when my race is about to die, we begin to run wild and no one or nothing can stop us. We'll be on a full rampage till we drain all our energy and die gradually. I've seen it happen countless times".

I knew she wasn't making this up and I knew she was hurt but I still couldn't let her go. I guess she has grown on me already.

"So all the ones you've seen, they could all talk before running wild?"

She looked at me as though she didn't think of that before.

"You are right, none of them could talk or maybe I just didn't know because we were all animals".

She looked like a confused lost puppy. I promised myself there and then that I'd do everything I can to make sure she overcomes this. Just then, we heard a knock on the door. I quickly made a signal with my hand telling her not to say a word. When the door opened, it was the man who carried Jagi into the room early. I think his name was Yu Lei or something.

"The boss said to ask how you were doing ma'am".

"Ahh, I'm fine thank you".

He immediately averted his eyes from mine and looked right behind me. He began going close and when he got close enough, he bent and said.

"I see you're finally awake," he said while stroking her head and it seem Jagi liked it.

He abruptly stood up and looked at her while smiling. Then turned to me with an indifferent face, he simply bowed and left. Jagi kept looking at him till the door finally closed shut.

"Who is he?"

"Ahh, he was the guard who brought you to the the room when you fainted in the garden".

She turned and looked at me with a very serious face that had some new found determination in it which was pretty scary.

"Shin Suri, I've made up my mind, I'm not leaving anymore".

I was surprised as to why she changed her mind so fast.

"Because of him?"

"No, because I think you and Joo Ah need me".

I raised one of my brows and gave her a look that say 'you must think I'm stupid'.

"Fine, I don't know why, but I'm curious about him. I need to figure out something. I felt secure and safe when he walked in but at the same time, I felt something really negative. I need to figure it out".

"Fine but you need to let me know as soon as you feel anything strange in you and don't talk in front of anyone else".

"What about me?"

We were both shocked and turned around immediately. Joo Ah was awake so she obviously heard some part of our conversation.

"How long have you been listening for?"

"From the very beginning. Ever since you walked into the room but I was too weak to stand so I just listened. But then, I heard Jagi speak I wanted to jump up but for some reason, I couldn't stand and I couldn't talk".

"So, in a nutshell, you heard everything?"

She nodded.

Lu Jinho was in his study and he looked pretty restless. Yu Lei walked in and the always so cold faced Lu Jinho looked back like a little baby.

"What is she doing?"

Yu Lei simply went over and sat on his chair.

"Nothing lover boy, she is just hanging out with her friends".

Lu Jinho raised his brow in annoyance.

"Who are you calling lover boy? You sound like a twelve year old".

Yu Lei burst into laughter and then went over to Lu Jinho.

"Listen Jinho, I'm telling you this as a friend. Stop hiding it, it's obvious you like this girl".
