Except your nose

The next morning, Shin Suri woke up feeling refreshing and at least strong enough to walk around.

When I woke up, I yawned so loudly that it felt like the birds ran away because of my sound. For some reason, I was feeling really energetic today even though I just woke up from a coma yesterday and experienced so much.

Before I went back to sleep last night, I thought about what the real Shin Suri said before she left, and to be honest, even though I always claimed to love my life as an assassin, I used to envy those who had such normal lives.

Sometimes, I would imagine walking around with no bad intentions and no need feeling insecure, thinking about who was following me or whatsoever, and now, I get to live that kind of life.

With that conclusion in my mind, I said to myself.

"I am going to live a simple, peaceful, and quiet life". After saying this my eye opened wide tilted my head and thought of something else.

"Well I'll live a simple life but I'm going to have to kill those assholes".

I nodded my head in agreement with what I had concluded. For now, I'll live a very very quiet life.

As soon as I said that, the door opened up quietly and Mr. Oh came in.

"Good morning popular Shin Suri".

I smiled at how he often calls me. Even though I had gotten Shin Suri's memories, I still didn't know why he called me popular so I decided I'd ask him later.

"Good morning Mr. Oh, hope you slept well". He was walking towards the small-looking kitchen when he turned around and said to me, "how could I have slept well when you kept on snoring".

"Huhh me? Yaa, you are joking, I don't snore".

I said while giving a very fake smile, still in disbelief at what I just heard. He turned looking at me completely now.

"You snore, and when you do you sound like a pig".

Waaa it's okay if he says I snore but isn't that a little too much.

Now I was looking at him like a spoilt child about to be rebellious.

"Yaa Mister, why are you being so rude to me huh, if I snore, you should just say I snore why do you have to call me a pig".

He didn't say anything but I'm very sure I saw the corner of his lips go up.

"Mister did you just smirk? Ya Mister".

I said running after him towards the kitchen. When we got to the kitchen table I noticed he had already made breakfast.

"Waa, how early did you wake up to be able to make all this? Is this a feast huh huh? So you like Shin Suri this much huh? Why did you make all hmm...."

He stuffed some meat into my mouth and I must confess it was really nice. I kept savoring the taste in my mouth when I suddenly heard him speak.

"Never have I ever known you to be the type who talks this much. You've always been quiet and I always had to force conversations. I guess near-death experience can come in handy".

"Well you can't blame me, It's not every day you get another chance to live". I sighed.

"However, I promise I'm going to make the most of my new life without regretting anything".

Then I placed my elbow on the table and looked at him so seriously, one would think my life depended on it.

"That being said, Mister, can you change my face a little, huh huh just a little bit".

He looked at me as though he felt I was crazy.

"Ya Shin Suri, are you crazy? I'm not changing your face not even in the slightest".

"Please huh please. I'm not asking you to change so much, I just want you to make me look a little bit different from how I look now. That's the only way I can live freely".

He looked at me and I made some puppy eyes that even I knew could be annoying but the good part was, I feel he was considering it.

"You are out of your mind. I'm never doing it never never never". As soon as he said this, he walked off the kitchen.

'What was that, even with my cute puppy eyes aishh'. I said the last part while stomping my feet on the ground.

"Mister, can I ask why you don't want to do it, I know you can so I don't know why you refuse to. Besides, if you think about it, it's my face".

He looked at me and asked, "why do you want this so much?"

"Well because for once, I want to lead a normal life. I don't want to worry about who is looking or who thinks I'm a bad person. I just want to be free".

He looked like he was in deep thoughts and didn't answer me for a while. When he finally spoke, he said.

"Fine I'll make a few changes but I won't change your nose".

I was smiling till I heard what he said at the end.

"What, why, I mean that's what you are supposed to change first".

He looked at me from head to toe and said, "that's what I like the most".

He started going back to the kitchen but turned around.

"Ahhh by the way, don't you feel the need to exercise, you snore like a pig might as well look like one. That way, I won't need to worry about changing your face. No one is going to look at you anyway".

I was rejoicing a few minutes ago but this old man left me dumbfounded once again. I suddenly felt the need to look at myself in the mirror.

"Haaaa what is this, why do I look out of shape like this, the Shin Suri I saw was very much in shape aish".

After having breakfast, Mr. Oh started working on the ingredients he would use for my face. This was not like plastic surgery or anything like that. It was different and it looked really interesting.

When it was evening, he told me the ingredients were ready and I had to put them on now, so I laid down as he applied them to my face.

One thing I noticed is he placed them on specific areas and left some untouched, especially my nose.
