Can you talk?

What he was saying made absolutely no sense. She was a tiger and yes, the fact that she was changing colors made no sense but why would her system suddenly become too weak for her body.

Joo Ah stood up so fast as though she was about to tear the doctor apart.

"What do you mean by that?" she asked with tears in her eyes.

"She was healthy till late last night. So how can you tell me her system is suddenly weak? Does it make any sense to you?"

Right now, she was crying and shouting, it was almost as though she was the one who was sick. She moved closer to the doctor and the doctor actually took a few steps back thinking she would hit him but suddenly, she knelt in front of him.

"Please, I'm begging you to do whatever it is, just make sure she doesn't die please I'm begging you".

"What are you doing".

I ran towards her and raised her up from the floor. She wasn't herself right now and with the way she was crying, I could tell that she was going to pass out if she didn't stop soon. So I placed her on the bed and went back to the doctor.

"Can we talk outside?" He nodded and we went out.

"Doc, I don't understand what is going on, but I'm sure there should be a way to fix it right? You can't just say she is weak and not give her any treatment or at least give us something to work with".

"Listen, miss, I didn't say this to make you feel pressured. The truth is, this is strange to me as well but, we haven't given her any proper treatment yet and we are still yet to examine her thoroughly. If you want that done, you can bring her over to the vet clinic when you are ready. But for now, she will be fine in a few hours".

After our conversation, he left and I went back to meet Joo Ah and Jagi. When I got there, Joo Ah had cried to sleep so I closed the door and left them. I was a bit frustrated because I was feeling sad. When I was Li Meilin, I didn't have the luxury of being sad so I totally forgot how it felt but now, it feels like my heart is torn into different pieces.

I couldn't take this feeling so I decided to go into the training room and blow off some steam. I went to my room, got changed, and left to train. When I got there, I heard some sounds inside so I knew someone was inside.

When I got in, I saw Lu Jinho inside the fighting room. It was possible to see his because it was a glass that demarcated the two sides but he couldn't see me. I watched him fight for a while but I decided to leave when I noticed he was coming out. Je wasn't talking to me yet and I wasn't ready to face him either so I best avoid him for now.

For some reason, watching him fight calmed me down a little, so I was feeling kinda better. It was now that I realized I haven't had anything to eat since morning. My tummy didn't hesitate to remind me with a crazy loud sound. I placed my hand on my tummy and started rubbing it.

"Aish..I'm so hungry".

I went and got changed again and went straight to the dining table. When I got there, there were maids there ready to serve me so I took my seat and anticipated what would be served.

After having an early lunch, I went upstairs to check up on Jagi and Joo Ah. When I got to the room, Joo Ah was still sleeping but Jagi was awake. I ran towards her and hugged her tightly.

"Jagi!! I was so worried".

I said while hugging her with tears in my eyes but then, I heard something that took away all the tears from my eyes.

"Shhhh, don't wake her up with your insanely loud voice".

I looked to see who was talking. I really felt I was hearing things because there was no one in the room asides from myself, Jagi, and Joo Ah. But Joo Ah was sleeping so I was wondering who else would have said what I just heard.

I looked at Jagi but she was looking at me as though I was a crazy psycho. Of course, anyone would think that. How can I imagine that an animal can talk? I felt I was too tired so I decided to retire back to my room.

"I'll be in my room. I'll come back to check on both of you when she wakes up".

I said and turned around to leave but then, I heard someone speak again and this time, I was sure I wasn't hearing things.

"Of course, you will. You love me too much".

I turned with the speed of light but Jagi was just sitting on the floor and Joo Ah was still sleeping. I went close to Jagi and bent.

"Jagi, can you talk?"

She looked at me for a few seconds and then, I saw her speak.

"It appears I can".
