Update: Hiatus for a while My name is Joe. I've been playing games about dungeon-building all my life with the hope of being able to manage or create one myself. Of course, I know there were no dungeons IRL, but who knows? A good friend of mine who knows of my obsession with dungeons gave me a birthday gift yesterday. It was a game in a different genre than what I played usually. But since it was a gift he gave me, I played it. Though there weren't really any "dungeons" in it, the oldies Eastern aesthetic took me in. I played it as soon as I got it from him, no questions asked. What did it give me?! Unwanted transmigration into this world of extra bullshit!!
"Is that why you are here?" I asked.
"That's correct. I am here to meet you all, and to ask for help."
"So you looked for us using your divination?
"That's correct."
"Why us?" Alan inquired, almost defensively. After all, his first priority was to protect his family.
"Because I see no other could prevent it."
"And what is it do you need preventing?"
"The destruction of the capital city." Yu Bao said it with such great conviction we almost believed him.
Having experienced the life of a mercenary, Ranga was concerned about the profits. "If we take that job, what's in it for us? And how dangerous will it be?" She asked, showing a different side of her, one that was unusually serious.
"You are still thinking about profit even after I said the capital would be destroyed?" The fortune-teller was baffled.
"No. I'm thinking about our group's safety. If you want our help, at least give us some excuse to help you."
