Chapter 70 - Cat fight.

Kayurnn's eyes looked further beyond, his eyesight was better than others and so he could see that from a distance more figures whose heads were covered with black leather all over their bodies while the car warriors soon became disoriented by the ten killer mages at the base of the dune.

"Those are killer mages, it's an attack!" Kaunyrr yelled as another flame soon incinerated his brethren.

"Since this is an all out battle then I will very well fight with them," he said as he scratched his leather bracers before the nails on his fingers elongated and became claws. He then slid down the dune and leaped while he was halfway passed, allowing his skin to glisten under the moonlight as he growled even more.

The mages who were still detached from the main force that was approaching and shooting black flames turned their attention from his brethren to him and a wide grin appeared on Kaunyrr's face while he was in mid air.

Kaunyrr's claws then crossed as the moon cast its light upon his body "Child under the moonlight!"

The black flames that made contact with his skin instantly vanished while his claws and body suddenly became surrounded with a cyan like colour.

His brown eyes turned blue as he descended from the sky to the ground with a huge wave of sand parting from him. The killer mages continued to focus all their attack on him but only saw their flames vanish.

"The Children of the moon will make you pay for this!" Kaunyrr said as he sharpened his glistening claws and sped towards one of the killer mages leaving behind trails of white dust before one of his claws passed through another mage.

A white light began to spread from the mage's body and slowly began to burst out of its body as it hissed out in pain before exploding into pieces.

"It's a Warrior of the Moon retreat!" The other mages yelled after seeing their fellow comrade get skewered by light flashes.

"You made a mistake intruding into my territory!" Kaunyrr scoffed as his claws crossed once again, this time they glowed even more, becoming a bright light that flashed in front of the damned mages and burst their bodies into multiple pieces.

Kaunyrr remained at the spot looking at the enemy continuing to approach. As soon as one of his tribe warriors stopped in front of him, he looked at him with a frowning face and turned to the others who had finally descended from the sand dune."The enemy has baited us now to prepare for battle!"

The warriors were about to ready their spear until he passed another order.

"Warriors of the moon form up!, the rest of you should return!" he screamed as a group of cat warriors, fifty in total, arranged themselves into a circle formation around him before pointing their spears with a white colored stone towards the sky.

He stretched his claws to the moon and cried "Blessed power of the moon of Tijiketiri, shine upon us all. Hear the cries and pleas of your child!"

His claws crossed again as a bright light emerged and shot out in the form of a ray towards the moon before descending back again to the sands completely engulfing everything in its path.

The army of killer mages which was around three hundred stopped in their tracks as the light slowly dimmed before revealing a group of cat warriors with armor the colour of the moon and were armed with glistening spears.

"It was a mistake to attack us, the children of Tajiketiri during the time of the full moon!" Kaunyrr's voice reached the enemy's ears. Out of all of them, he was the one whose armor glowed brighter than the rest.

"Did you think that we would fear some tricks conjured from light, our flames burn everything in its path!" said a tall Killer mage who came forth with a snake carved into his staff.

"Your eyes have been deceived for the lies you believed!" Kaunyrr's voice became louder clearly from rage.

"Today, we shall wipe you all and your Clan's moon warriors from the face of the world. Your power of dominance ends today!" he then raised his staff as the carved eyes of the snake turned red.

From their black leather cloaks, the eyes of the mages became red making them resemble demons.

"Show the true form of the deception that evil has done to you," Kaunyrr's claws gripped in anger as he watched the transformation continue and leather clothes the enemy wore tore completely as they became larger, bigger and their body resembled a red tiger but upright.

Kaunyrr sharpened his claws as a growl escaped his lips. He addressed the warriors who have now gathered behind him "Warriors of the moon mother follow me. Let the blood that will be shed today be the blood that will ensure our future as well as that of our kin"

After his words, a trail of moon dust remained as he had charged towards the enemy. The cats with moon armor and glistening spears followed his lead and charged with their spears as their speed heightened.

"To think that the law of divinity skills paired with mana would hold so much potential here" Shawn mumbled as he continued to chew the chicken wing he was holding.

What he had seen was just a power made from

He had once sat down to reason the laws he would give Yorn at one point and came up with that law as well as many others that he was not curious how they affected the world.

The killer mage army that had come against Kayurnn's clan did not back down and black flames emerged from their paw-like hands before ensnaring their entire bodies.

"Surround yourselves with power from the flame poison. They'll all be dead once they touch you!" said the Killer Mage who pointed the snake staff at the moon warriors and the cats now made beasts charged.

No matter how fast the moon warriors were, none of their speed could match Kaunyrr who had already reached the enemy lines and stabbed his claw into a raging tiger beast and then jumped while kicking its body till he reached the head where his leg collided with the chin.

The tiger beast roared out in pain as Kaunyrr jumped away from him before crossing his claws again as a small speck of dust collided with the body and it became swallowed by light.

Kayurnn however had no time to take a break as another red angered tiger jumped upon him and slammed the ground creating dust around and blurring the environment from view.

Little did the tiger expect to hear the sound of a cut at his leg before hearing another at his back and another at his neck and lights of moon dust before he fell to his knees and felt his chest being given a kick before his life flashed in front of his eyes.

A beast clashed with a moon warrior's spear deflecting the trajectory of the strike before raising its claws to split him. The moon warrior pushed himself away from the attacker, hitting his spear on the sand so as to push himself above the enemy while leaving behind a trail of moon dust.

He then swung his spear down as the stone head of it released a deep hue similar to the moon's and soon clashed against the beast's claw that was shrouded with a black flame.

But it didn't deter his opponent's effort as the flame was quickly pushed back by the moonlight and completely eradicated the paw, chopping it off from the main body before sliding down to the head and splitting the main body into two while black flames continued to burn the divided body.

Another moon warrior clashed against another mage now a monster and thrust his spear forth into the beast's chest allowing it to come out of the other end. However for some reason, the beast didn't die instead the black flame of its body continued to burn till it spread to the spear and incinerated it along with the main body making the warrior now defenseless as another beast rushed towards him as he defended with his fists.

"Under the light of the moon we move against the evil that seeks to eradicate us,''he said as he continued to cut down the enemy's with his wolverine-like claws. His focus was on the snake staff the leader of the killer mages held as it was the weapon that fueled their madness.

After cutting down countless, he then made eye contact with the mage who he was surprised to find was female.

He gritted his teeth feeling even more annoyed as he pointed one of his claws at her "You have the audacity to attack us while showing up with your false god!"

"The will for us mages to succeed will never be made useless by you!" She countered before pointing the staff towards him and a blast shot out of the red eyes which he instinctively dodged only to notice that her eyes were now also red.

"This isn't good at all," he said before rushing towards her.
