Ch.22: Why would I...think such a thing?

Kazemi stood in the air above the hotel. 'Rukia said that they're bringing in other D-Game players, increasing their numbers and territory in this event. If they reach here..them even I don't think that we could stop them..'

He then thought about Akari. Rukia told him that she once took down a herd of 10,000 zombies in a Hard leveled event by herself. 'With her here, we could easily be safe though. Too bad she doesn't want to participate..'

He then flashedback to a few moments ago. Kazemi stopped on the 32nd floor and walked down the hallway. 'She went to my room, huh? What a weird girl..' He walked to the door that had dried blood in front of it.

"Hello? Room service."

He knocked gently on the door. He then looked through the peep hole and saw someone starring directly into his soul. 'F-Fucking hell, man..' He still didn't show fear, just surprisment.

"Oh, it's you..."

She unlocked the door and opened it up. What he saw next was a naked woman with mature bodily features. 'Dayum...she got 12 rings now? Lady, how much do you like to kill?' He walked in and closed the door behind himself.

"Hm? Your not gonna compliment my body..?"

"Huh? Yeah, it's cool. Should shave though. No man wants to explore a jungle."

She slapped him which made him groan. "Hmph! Your so rude! I bet it still tastes good atleast.." She put her leg onto a wall and examined herself.

"Mhh. That's nasty. Uhm..."

He looked away and at the window that had a curtain over it. 'Yeah, yeah, so what? Showing me a rain forest over there. Any guy would look away, right? Yes, you would. Me and you both aren't alpha males. We're beta. Virgins. Guys who can barely speak to women.'

"Nasty? Smh, missing out, I'm telling you. Taste like honey and nickel."

He strayed away from this odd conversation. He wasn't a Ladies man, but he also had no filter, resulting in these sort of conversations. 'Though, I've never talked about the taste of a girls pussy before. Never knew they tasted like that as well..'

He feared for the future. 'Nah, I bet Tory smells like roses and taste like sun flower seeds. Wait, this ain't why I'm here..' He sat down on his bed followed by Akari who sat next to him.

"So, uhm....can you pro-"

"Nope."

"Okay then."

Fast forward to Kazemi floating on the air. 'As you can see, she clearly doesn't want to help us. Don't know why, don't care why, just know that she doesn't want too.'

He saw an explosion in the distance as he thought that. 'Closer...they're getting closer..' This had been happening for thr past hour or so. They guess that the uninvited players brought in explosives and are using them as a showcase of power.

'I need more power though. All my Sigils are useless in actuall fighting...well, that's not true. People aren't bullet proof! Haha..'

He groaned out. 'This thing needs to hurry up and end so my plug, Rukia, can come through and deliver. She can't do anything right now as her setup isn't in this district...' He then looked back at said Rukia who was starring at him intensely on the roof.

'I can't catch a break from her. Even when I take a piss, she stands outside the fucking room. It's not annoying but I'd wish she do something useful..' He then went up to her and she took a leap of faith off the roof and into his chest.

"Kazumi."

She pronounced his name out as he sat down on the edge of the roof. "What is it? And why are you so revealed? Let's go put some more clothes on, okay?" She was in the same fit but seeing as it was night time, she could get sick in this cold.

"Okay!"

She hugged him tighter and wrapped her legs around his waist. 'Woah, now... your only a child. Let's wait until you grow up a bit..' She was too affectionate to him. There was a time where she'd keep her distance from him, but now she never wanted to leave.

'I feel...a familiar presence when I'm like this..' She inhaled deeply at the scent he gave off. 'I-it's weird, but...I feel protected...' She then came to the conclusion that it was just the way he acted. She noted that he likes children and so she play the child card... a lot..

'Though even if he likes me a lot, what he and Tory has...is unmatched..'

She then thought back to an hour and a half ago. She was ease dropping on the conversation between him and Tory. She heard his side and felt bad and then he proposed to her.

She accepted such feelings, but told him this...

Kazemi and Tory sat down on the guest bed together. She said she had something to tell him which ruined the mood of the room. 'Well whatever it is, I'll listen..'

"K-Kazemi...as you heard, I..want to find my parents.." She started off with. "They...were taken away on my 5 birthday, the same day I got my Sigil. I was told...that in order to get them back, I'll have to kill what's dear to me."

Kazemi cocked his head back at that. 'Damn. I feel bad for whoever's dear to her..' Like she knew what he was thinking, she gave him a soft punch in the side.

"I-Idiot...don't you understand...that I hold you most dearest to me?"

Kazemi sighed and slowly nodded. "That means...that you'll have to kill me...in order to get your parents back? I don't know how to feel about that. I mean, you can try I guess. If it'll make you happy, then you can-"

"S-Shut it, Kazemi! I'm not going to kill you.."

She kissed him on the cheek with her face becoming redder. "I-I like you too much.." Kazemi put his hand up to his check and felt it. 'This is bad. I'm basically a fucking wall with her parents behind me...'

"And I like you too much as well. I..also want to save my family and so.."

He put his pinky out.

"Let's promise each other this. When I help my family, I'll help you. Deal?"

In order for this to happen, he'd have to give his mom and brother a life of fortune on earth. And for him to help her, he'd essentially kill himself. He saw this as the perfect Win-Win situation as he gets redemption and she gets her parents.

"What? No! N-No, way!"

She didn't know the deal with his family and she didn't care as she thought he already said too much for today. 'But..either way, he dies~..' Her vision became blurred by tears.

"Come on, Tory. Be a big girl and step up. If it means making you happy, I'd gladly die a million times over.."

He forced a pinky hold with her. "Until we accomplish our goal, let's stick together and help each other out.." She began to cry even more. Just earlier, she was willing to kill him.

And yet, he was willing to die for her, a million times at that? 'What..was I thinking..' She finally found someone she could love and yet, she thought so poorly of him. 'I swear that I don't deserve someone as kind hearted and devoted as you, Kazemi..'

Kazemi laid back on the bed while sighing. 'Kazemi, I...I was only thinking about myself and not about your feelings. We both admited to loving each other and yet, I could put you down so easily..'

'You trust me enough to tell me all your secrets and even why you have whip marks on your back. And here I am...a selfish little girl who would have killed you..if my parents showed in this moment...'

She reflected upon herself. 'Why would I do that? Was I overcome with fear and anger that I sought out to kill the only person I've loved since..' She thought back to her date between the two.

The laughter she received on that day was something not even her parents could bring. 'I'm..trash..' Kazemi pulled her back and planted her head into his chest.

"I love you, Tory. I don't care if you'd betrayed me one day. I'm just grateful that I got to experience the best moments of my life...with you.."

He kissed her forehead while rubbing her back. 'Great...I gave him such an impression..' She held on tightly to his shirt and sighed. 'I'd never betray you, Kazemi. Never..'

She swore to be loyal to him. It would be hard to put off that the fact that the person who could give her parents back was with her 24/7, but she'll manage.

"Even if it costs me my life, Tory, I'll forever be grateful.."

The flashback stopped their as Kazemi looked at Rukia through the peep hole, making her squeal away. 'What they have..is something you'd only see in a fairytale..'
