On the first day Ren raided the dungeon three times before deciding to call it a day, each time being faster than the last, holding the same record similar to a that of a team if they were to raid the dungeon.
The following day, Ren didn't bother attending class, it wasn't important at the time. He also wasn't bothered about having bad grades since that could be easily fixed if the academy held him in high regard concerning his future as someone who was going to become an asset.
'The highest that could happen is them forcing me to take summer class and lower their evaluation standards so I pass, that's if I even fail, I doubt I would.' One would say Ren was being cocky, but then again, when one has the skill to back up their words, it's not just simple pride, it's overwhelming confidence.
"Oh, you're here so early today, don't you have classes? I'm sure that's not possible." The guard said. When he explained to his colleague earlier, what he experienced, he was laughed at for being drunk on duty, and his colleague even teased him by saying things like; "Don't start seeing another illusion that you will get with Milli, hahaha…"
"I took permission, so it should be fine." Ren really couldn't say he came here by himself. Though, it usually didn't concern anyone what the students did, as long as it isn't life threatening to them or others, it didn't mean that the guards could not report him, people just didn't care. As a matter of fact, a place such as the academy shouldn't even have any form of bullying, but then again, this is the military first and foremost, there was always bound to be some sense of seniority amongst the students, well, not just them.
"Well, it ok either way. You seem different today, did something good happen?" The guard had noticed that Ren's expression was… 'brighter?' than the day before, but he wasn't entirely sure, since it wasn't obvious.
Hearing the guard say this, Ren could not hold in the grin from showing as he walked towards the dungeon portal, "well, it's because I can't wait to raid the dungeon."
'I've never seen anybody have that kind of smile on their faces before while entering a dungeon…' The guard was taken aback, and the scene even took his mind back to his own days when he and his team would go on raids… 'for some reason, the feeling seems… very different.' From his memory, there was never a time he or his teammates looked hyped to go risk their lives, not once…
"They said the new students these days are scary; I think this is what they meant."

[You have entered a dungeon]

[Dungeon of Fallen Warriors]
-Clear condition- (special)
Kill all fallen warriors and kill the commander.
.
'Same as every other time, should be even easier.' Ren thought to himself. It wasn't just that, but this time he was very eager to test his new skill that he succeeded in creating the night before.
"Let's look for the enemies first." Fortunately, the enemies in this dungeon didn't fear death, and always knew where the enemy was.
'Wait…' Ren felt that something was off with the last notification that appeared. He quickly brought out the notifications to go through them, and once he entered the section that showed the clear condition, he noticed something that wasn't normally supposed to appear… 'special? What's this?' Since he already knew what the clear condition was, he dismissed the window immediately after it opened, but this time it seemed the window was different in one particular way.
Thinking a little more about it, Ren could not come up with an answer for why there was 'special' there, not even one. 'Ah wait… This can't be that, right?' After thinking a bit more, Ren seemed to remember something.
Although it only happened later on in the story, it was something that did happen only once, and maybe that goes to show the rarity of this event even happening. There was also a time when the word 'special' appeared during a raid with the MC being involved, and when it happened, the aftermath was very brutal. The level of monsters in the dungeon was raised, and even the terrain along with other things like the clear condition changed. Though, looking at it, the clear condition was still the same as before. Ren could only wonder what had been modified.
'I guess the only way is to check it out myself.' Ren wasn't scared in such a situation, mostly because he understood his strength and knew his limit, for the most part. Not to mention, he still hadn't distributed the stat points he got from leveling up recently, so he could always make a quick decision and invest it in a stat he needs in an emergency.
Ren moved out nonetheless, straight into enemy territory. Once he got to a huge mound where he could see the battlefield more clearly at some distance, even he was a bit surprised to see the situation of the dungeon battlefield.
'What the fuck is this? It's like all the waves put into one, it's insane…'
Looking ahead of him, Ren could easily estimate the number of monsters to be at least a thousand, and he could even see two commanders instead of one. It was like all the enemy waves were put into one, and all the soldiers of both commanders were joined together into one big.
"This is similar to what a level 25 may have to face, but for it to appear like this, should I count myself as lucky or unlucky?... Does it matter? The situation is always what you make of it."
Others might look at this battlefield and cower in fear while waiting for eminent death, others may resolve themselves and fight to the death, but Ren? All he could see before him were thousands of experience points waiting to be collected.
Ren really couldn't hold back the grin from appearing on his face as his lips widened, casting on his face a telling expression.
He gathered energy into his legs, and using it to make a great leap, Ren shot himself right into the midst of all his enemies, it was time to harvest some EXP.
Appologies for the lack of updates, I'm extremely busy these days with preps and tests; and the impending exams.
