Chapter 113

Huang Yanyan's POV:

As I entered the gates of school, Wu Ling and Yang Lixia were already waiting for me. Yang Lixia had a bright smile on her face as she said, "Yanyan, I have missed you. Please show me pictures of your party, I want to see it all. Wu Ling has filled me in."

I smiled back at her and replied, "Come let me tell you everything...my weekend was really fun."

Wu Ling chimed in, "Oh yes, it was."

Yang Lixia looked a bit wistful as she said, "Pity I wasn't there."

I patted her shoulder reassuringly. "I will make sure Gramps invites your family next time, okay?" She smiled and nodded, "Okay."

Just then, I felt a pat on my shoulder and my smile immediately disappeared. It was the annoying Song Yangyao. She said in a sickly-sweet tone, "Hey Yanyan, your banquet was really beautiful."

I frowned at her. "Since when are we friends, Yangyao?"

She forced a smile. "We grew up as sisters, we can't deny that."
