A different world

" I hope fate chooses well for you this time " the god of happiness said and disappeared

"ouch....,gosh this hurts "Aera woke up with her hand on her head as she cursed "shit ... didn't I die why am I here "

"oh ....or is the man's word true "she said as a realization came to her ,she starts to remember what transpires between her and the man. Coming to a conclusion that the man's word may be true ,she decided to face what life have for her here . Opening her eyes since she woke up she was amazed by all what she saw "is the god of happiness somehow joking with me "

Everything in the room screams wealth , she flicked her eyes around surveying the inside of the room . The room is elegant and colourful ,the walls painted pink which seems to attack Aera sight by how vibrant it is ,Aera had never been a fan of bright colours

On the walls are paintings hung on it ,they are about landscape and butterflies "oh ....I love butterflies "Aera thought .The bed is the master of the room as it took more space than any other furniture in the room ,it has a pillow with pink and black colours "not pink again " Aera said "hope I'm not also wearing pink " she thought and looked at her dressings and to her relief it was her favourite colour she's wearing

She sighted a shelf at the corner of the room where a mirror is settled upon ,she stood up from the bed and she could imagine her height "it's same as mine" Getting to the shelf, she sat down and brought her face towards the mirror to have a look and to her amazement, the face is just like what she has in her last life ,a face without flaws

She has an oval face ,fair skin and blue eyes which looked like a calm sea ,long dark eyelashes ,long hair and glossy lips , everything about is elegant and her looks and body is enthralling

"Didn't he say ,it's another world ,but why does it still retain my face "she thought curiously

She remembered her parents and thinks whether her parents will still be the same as her last life and it made her curious about who they will be ,she couldn't wait for what this world awaits. She was brought out of her thoughts by a knock on the door ,startled she looked towards the door and hopes for who is coming in

Seeing that no one answered ,Mrs Kim entered the room and what greeted her made her happy and relieved .Quickly moving toward Aera she hugged her and said "my baby ,how are you feeling ,I'm so happy you are awake" "Do you need anything ,hope your head isn't hurting " Mrs Lee asked her softly with a relieved and happy smile on her face ,she couldn't contain her joy that her daughter has woken up

On the day that Aera fell down from the stairs and hit her head leaving a pool of blood on the floor she was distressed and felt like her heart was stabbed . When the doctor concluded that she is in stable condition her joy knew no bounds but when the doctor continued further and said that he doesn't know when she will regain her consciousness ,she was dejected and couldn't sleep

She will wake up early in the morning and come to her daughter's room to check whether she's awake but everyday she will leave with a dejected expression but today she's happy ,at first she thought she wasn't awake since no one answered when she knocked but her mind became calm and elated when she entered the room and saw her daughter sitting on the chair facing her shelf

Seeing the woman that entered the room and how she addressed her ,Aera was disappointed by what she saw as the woman who entered isn't her mother from her other world but someone else who she doesn't know but she guessed who it could be

Mrs Kim was beginning to fret as her daughter didn't answer her and she quickly stopped hugging her to go out to call for the doctor Seeing this Aera said "who are you " even though she has an idea about who she may be she decided to ask the question so as to inform them of possible amnesia

Looking at her and seeming somehow confused "Aera , what's wrong ,I'm your mother , don't you remember me " "if you are angry with me that I didn't let you to follow your friend on the trip ,I'm sorry but you don't have to pretend not to know me "

Seeing that the woman doesn't want to acknowledge the fact that she truly don't know who she is Aera just kept staring at her until the woman believed her

Seeing her daughter keeping quiet ,realization dawned on her as she decided to face the possible outcome about what her daughter mean ,she stutters as she asked *baby ....what's your ..name "

Aera titled her head with a curious expression and said "I don't know ,I don't know why I'm here, what is my name , and why do I have this bandage on my head "

"baby ,I'm going to bring the doctor to check up on you so don't stand up from the bed " Mrs Kim said and assisted Aera to lie on the bed before rushing out to call the doctor
