Chapter 221: Suspect

When bright warm sunrays glistened on Xanthus's face from the bedside glass window, blinking his long lashes he finally woke up from his deep sleep. Judging from the brightened daylight, he understood it must be already past the forenoon. When he glanced down next to him, a soft smile curved his lips to watch Noah still snuggled in his arms, sleeping with a childish innocence on his beautiful face.

Xanthus slowly woke up on the bed, making sure not to disrupt Noah's peaceful sleep. After sharing such a passionate moment, his body felt quite relaxed and refreshed. He noticed that his body temperature had calmed down to normal and he wasn't sweating profusely like before.

All these quick observations made it easy for him to realize spending his heat with Noah actually helped him to calm down, or else he would have been still struggling hard to deal with it.
