One day, he fell asleep on his desk, just when a bomb set off in their office building and a fire ensued. The planet they landed on was a part of the Star System with binary stars. There were only three planets in the Star System and they landed on the third one. The third one, nicknamed Planet Escale, is in the goldilocks zone, just the right coldness and hotness for a regular human to survive. But then again, the group didn't even need this type of environment since their space suits could more than make up for the temperature and the gravity of the place. Still, Dmitri didn't want to risk landing on other planets because the Starlight Streamer needed repairs. If they were to do it on a planet with erratic weather patterns, then there's a huge chance that the Starlight Streamer might suffer damage during the repair phase. If that were to happen and they get trapped on the planet with nowhere to go to, then at the very least they should stay in a planet that supports human life even if it's just a little bit.
