Planets, galaxies are not present here. The whole land is divided into five parts and these five parts are Eastern Region, Western Region, Central Region, Northern Region, Southern Region. These five parts surprisingly occupy only 20% of continent.

The remaining 80% is occupied by "Five Great Desolates." Those are Deep Ravine Abyss, Desolate Yellow Forest, Ten Thousand Lonely Mountains, Great Void Border, Boundless Death Sea. These are forbidden areas in the continent. Even powerful cultivators do not dare to venture too deep into those areas.

The Continent came out to be a subsidiary of Nine Heavens. There are lower heavens, middle heavens and upper heavens. Each of these three further divided to three, resulting in Nine Heavens. The Descendants of these Nine Heavens are sent here to the continent for their upbringing. This is because of Heavenly Dao restrictions. For example, one must be a True Immortal to ascend into lower heavens. As such people weaker than True Immortals are rejected in lower heavens. The same goes for middle and upper heavens. The geniuses who born in upper heavens and middle heavens most likely descend to lower heavens. So mostly people from lower heavens are in the continent.

The Continent is actually an ancient battlefield. It hosted a great war between heavens and demons. Opposing the heavens and wishing for destruction are Demons, Nether-Beings, Abyss Devils. Fiend Devils and more. Surprisingly, they also stay in the continent and Nine Heavens. In more precise way, they stay in deepest parts of Great Desolates. Even the Nine Heavens have the Great Desolates. In the same Great Desolates, Wild Beasts, Divine Beasts and Ancient Beasts are present. So the beasts are neutral faction siding neither with demons or humans. But Beast contracts are common in both sides. In Continent there are mostly wild beasts and one in a million divine beast, its very rare.

Outside the Continent is The Vast Multi-Universe. Most likely, Su Zeich came from such a universe. This multiverse is the mortal world and also the Grand Void. So no one from the continent or Nine Heavens leave for mortal world and enter the Grand Void to explore the multiverse. It is same notion where if we have gold in hand, you do not need to suffer to fish for some bronze. And also one cannot easily cross the great void border and enter the Grand Void. There are spatial turbulences, spatial storms as such if we get stuck in we don't even know where we end up. There are also in the Void Beasts in the Grand Void which are as powerful as Cultivators, to prevent them from venturing the mortal world and the void.

Since the Continent holds future generations, the Nine Heavens pay great care for its well-being. Ten thousand years ago, war was once again waged in the continent. The upper echelons took this as an opportunity and wiped out almost every demon and devil, and the remaining fled to the depths of Great Desolates. A large number of powerful demons were also sealed. So, the continent is perhaps the safest, even among nine heavens.

To ensure this peace the Ten Great Sects were established, which are the branches of sects in lower heavens. And also powerful family factions also put a stronghold here in the continent.
