Chapter 232 - Soul

Upon arriving in the Tales of demons and god verse had immediately greeted by a multitude of issues. Caelum Nascent Soul was his current form appearing a younger and slimmer of himself with shorter hair covering his eyes, not that he always needed them.

He usually has his eyes closed therefore the hair covering his eye was not the problem rather his body was sealed in dimensional plane and would only be unsealed once he reached a certain level.

This arose another problem and that being his Fiendgod body refining, supreme body Refinement and Immortal Physique was useless in his current world.  He won't be able to cultivate the immortal physique and integrate them into his body without it.

Caelum was on the edge knowing his body was in a weakened state, though, this gave him an opportunity to improve his battle prowess. In the end, his only disappointed that he won't be able to do his four ratio of immortal physique.

'My Omniscient is limited due to how weak my soul is. Thankfully, Ycnágnnisssz's skill is still active.'

His Cosmic Eye was limited as well due to the lack of body. He is still able to use them but cannot bring out their true potential. Caelum sat down to contemplate what he needed to do before checking his Treasury and finding a particular book.

It appeared to be an ordinary book yet the profound aura it produced was something Caelum felt overwhelmed. 

'Temporal Demon Spirit Book? This is what those supreme experts are fighting for?? Let me see what is so special about it.'

The Temporal Demon Spirit Book was a mysterious treasure that was little known about the series. It was only said it provides a dimensional plane where time works differently where Nie Li was able to exploit.

Even without opening the book, he was already able to feel his soul resonating with it and seeing the higher level of Space and Time law. This treasure was fated to be Caelum seeing his Omniscient was improving the more he resonated with the treasure.

He manipulated his Soul energy into the Temporal Demon Spirit Book that had powerful inscription patterns engraved into it. By pouring his Soul Energy instantly felt his Nascent Soul to resonate with the book. 

Caelum was able to understand the law coming from the Temporal Demon Spirit Book and allowed him to reach the desirable Omniscient. He was able to understand the layers of law and how it is used. 

Thanks to the Temporal Demon Spirit Book gave him a more understanding on how he would become Omnipresence. It was then the book entered his body without hesitation and produced yet another Dantian where the Soul was located. 

This can be called a Soul realm where the soul energy is located. There are also terms such as Soul attribute that differentiate them by the element of their soul as well as Soul form which is the shape of their Soul.

Caelum doesn't have a Soul attribute nor a Soul form as his Nascent soul if the form and attribute. If he places it in a category then it would be in the Void attribute. 

It was then he could feel a change within his Soul Realm, shocking what he witnessed. The Five Heavenly Dragons, Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird, Black Turtle, White tiger and Golden Dragon appeared inside the Soul Real then vine-like structures appeared connecting themselves into his Nascent Soul boosting his Soul Force even further.

Caelum immediately sat down and circulated the soul force across his body to temper the soul. He had no flesh and blood but imagined being one letting it flow through his being before sending an explosion of energy.

His Body emanated an ethereal glow then opened his eyes, a refreshed feeling as though he had gained his body back. He gained more understanding about the soul and how it correlates with Life and death. 

'I only need a few things before reaching Grand reincarnation.'

The Five Heavenly beast became akin to his bloodline but was in his soul. He understood that the Soul if reached the highest level can become the Heavenly Dao/Will. 

He would produce a Heavenly Dao within his Great Zenith world which would increase the 'Potential' of the lifeforms inside. 

Moments later, Caelum decided to take out his Antique Burning Incense to slow down his cultivation as it was too fast for him to maintain a solid foundation.  

He easily took out soul related herbs from the Gate of Babylon then placed them inside the treasure before using his [Primeval Dao flames] to burn the herbs. 

It didn't take long for the effect to take its course. The sensation already began to temper his Soul akin to tearing his muscle fiber and repairing them to become stronger. 

Caelum then took out his Asura Sutra to begin creating an avatar for his 'soul/divine' aspect. This was the second volume where it would resonate with the Spirit Source Qi to create an avatar of the soul.

Upon taking a glance, Each word in the Asura Sutra seemed to contain an endless demonic atmosphere. Just by looking at it, one felt as if their soul was being sucked in.

Caelum could clearly see that this ink and the way it is written had sacrificed countless powerhouse that still remain showing their hatred and remorse.

Normally a cultivator would be shaken as it directly affects the soul but Caelum cultivated the [Heartforce] which nullified it entirely. 

He began to read the instructions and In order to practice them, one needed to form an avatar. Moreover, the requirements to create this avatar were extremely harsh. He had to split apart thirty percent of his divine/Nascent soul to create an avatar or refine one using miracle materials of the heavens and earth.

Of course Caelum chooses the former over the latter; it tempers his path and overall prowess rather than relying on treasure.

He began to split his soul and use seventy percent instead of thirty placing it into the Soul realm. In this way, Caelum's external Nascent Soul would be more tempered and His Spirit Source Avatar have more foundation to work with.

The thin vine reconnected into his external Soul and Internal Soul. At that moment began to recite the Asura Sutra and gather as much Spirit Source Qi was able to obtain. 

Time passed yet it did not come prompting him to frown how this was more difficult than the Grandmist Source Qi. In the end, he halted his cultivation knowing it was a bottleneck that needed time. 

'I should study this world's Alchemy and other knowledge before exploring. Perhaps I will gain something.'

He went into his Sea of Consciousness after the Antique Burning Incense finish and observed his Soul that had become more refined and tempered. 

This Nascent Soul was not an astral body but a real form that had a solid state where if he died then he was unlikely to forget his past life. 

Caelum headed to his Sea Of Consciousness then took every book and scripture he could find within his gate babylon that was specific in Tales of Demons and Gods.

He was able to learn the countless hidden languages, Cultivation methods, Martial art techniques, alchemy and Inscription. There were some flaws and errors but it was easily improved and revised by Caelum.

By studying, these different cultivation methods and knowledge improve his affinity to all of them. There are little things that had caught his eyes but Caelum opted to take them out. 

'I should make a method for Soul cultivation. Though I have Asura Sutra it would be great to have my external Soul grow.'

He studied every attribute and soul form that correspond with different cultivation methods. Caelum took his time to recreate his [Voidless Paragon] cultivation method that was more for his main cultivation.

By fusing two attributes which was Heavenly and Void with foundation from other methods allowed him to create a powerful Soul cultivation suited for him.
