Chapter 2

Lying on the bed of his inside his own courtyard house,Li Feng could only sign.So many things happened when his father picked him up like a ragdoll all the way to their family territory.On his trip back home,the buildings he saw were like those in ancient era where bricks looked like they were not invented.Due to him being a patriarch's son,he was built a well designed building with wood that could rival hard woods.

The previous Li Feng surely had a good life but not a good body.He was born with undeveloped meridians,no spirit root or even a martial spirit.Meridians help to store Qi,spirit root helped to absorb the said Qi while martial spirit helped one during a battle.Now the current Li Feng had to like bare the full grant of such a life.

Suddenly,pain erupted on his entire body without warning or sign.Tossing and turning, Li Feng tried to make the pain fade but all was for nothing.The pain only intensified till we went to sleep.In his conscience, a jade manifested itself with bold words on both sides.One side read Martial Path and on the other, it read Tribulation Way.

If the four words were combined, it read Martial Path Tribulation Way.inside the jade, there were words that only the master of the jade would read, Li Feng was the jade's master.while he was sleeping, the jade was glowing while releasing energy that rivals true energy of heaven and earth.

The night passed while Li Feng was deeply asleep."Young master Li, please wake up"a young servant girl tried to wake him up many times but the young boy was like a sleeping log.The girl went to call the family patriarch so as to wake her young master up.

A fist condensed from martial energy formed it way to Li Feng's sleeping body and with a bang, he flew through the window near his bed.The bang sound alerted almost everyone including the sleeping babies.People found their way to where the sound came only to find Li Feng still sleeping on the ground.This act confused his father to a point of bleeding blood because he was used to having Li Feng retaliate whenever he was hit, but now it looks like sleep has more benefit than retaliation.
