Most of the map was clearly detailed. However, the Central Part of the Palace was simply marked in grey with no other details.
It especially stood out since the Central Palace was twice the size of Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Palace combined.
Although it didn't go in detail, the map was still useful for him. He memorised the map clearly before putting it back on the table. At the same time, he picked up the other documents.
The first few pages on the documents mentioned the rules that they had to follow. Surprisingly, there were no rules that barred fighting within the Palace. The rules only stated that killing others wasn't allowed.
The other rules stated that at all times, they had to carry their emblem with them. They also weren't allowed to leave their rooms without wearing the clothes provided to them by the Estate.
In total, there were over a hundred rules. Just reading halfway through the rules, Raven stopped. He tossed the pages that contained the rules aside and moved on to the next few pages.
The remaining pages described the various facilities that the youngsters could use to further train themselves. Contrary to everyone's belief, the Marlin's Palace wasn't an Academy.
No one was actually taught here. There were no teachers assigned to the youngsters. However, the reason this place was still so popular was because of all the facilities that further boosted the growth of a person.
The first of those facilities that drew people in was the Bloodline Pool. It was a pool that could only be found here in the entire Camelot.
Not only could the pool increase the innate talent of a youngster, but it could also awaken their bloodlines if they possessed any. It was said that just by entering the pool once, one could double their talents right away.
The second important place here was the Library of Magic, where all magic scrolls were available. All youngsters who were able to pass the test were allowed to study in the library.
They could try to learn anything from those scrolls that they wanted. As for how much they could learn, it depended entirely on their talent.
Another important place was the training hall. And it was the most special place here. In the Training Hall, there were special battle rooms that could be borrowed. And in each room, youngsters could fight one of the two enemies.
They could either select to fight against a younger version of Merlin, or the younger version of King Arthur. Since the two young avatars were created using magic and from Merlin's memories, it allowed the youngsters to face the best of the best.
The youngsters could also face the older versions once they could successfully defeat the younger ones. However, until now, not many had succeeded.
Just the flight of facing Arthur or Merlin was scary for many, even if it was the younger version. However, since they were created using magic, there was no harm to life, which motivated more to take this risk.
All these facilities were available in each of the four zones that were open to people. There were also special battle arenas where one youngster could challenge another youngster from their own house or another house.
When Raven came here, he thought there were going to be a lot of people here. However, reading through these documents, he came to know that there were only around twenty people in each of the Four Houses.
He finally understood why the old man was surprised when three people passed in the same year.
From the documents, Raven also came to learn about one more place. Unlike the first few, this one wasn't within the Palace itself but behind the Palace.
It was known as the Tower of Blessing. The tower had only twenty floors and it ranked people based on how far they were able to reach inside the tower.
It was said that the tower had been here since before Merlin even established his Palace here. As for how true this was, no one knew.
The documents made sure to mention that the age and strength of a person didn't affect their ranking. The older and stronger one was, the harder it was to climb.
It also made it more intriguing that the current first rank was held by Arthur who had managed to reach only the twelfth floor. As for Merlin, he could only reach the tenth floor. Of the rest, no one had managed to reach beyond the sixth floor.
Although Raven was curious about the tower that even Arthur could barely climb halfway, but he didn't pay much attention to it as he put the papers back.
For now, he was only interested in the Core Region of the Palace. The documents didn't mention anything about the core region except that it was forbidden for them to even approach that place, let alone enter.
As Raven kept all the papers back, his attention went back to the form that he had to fill, if he wanted to move freely. Unfortunately, the form was still troublesome.
In the end, he decided to solve the mess of the form first.
He folded the form and kept it in his pocket, before walking towards the mirror that could be used to observe him.
He touched the mirror, fully remembering that feeling of being one with the core of this palace. The laws of the palace reacted to him just as swiftly, making him feel as if he had truly become one with this place, at least mentally.
After making sure that he wasn't being watched, he made some changes to the rules of the mirror, making it impossible for anyone to look into his room for the time being.
After making changes to the mirror, he walked toward the door. Each of his footsteps was in complete sync with the laws of the palace as if he was recognised as the true master of this place.
He reached the door. With a light touch, he made some changes to the door. With a clicking sound, the door opened.
