A ridiculous rumour

''Well, Now the matter is all sorted out , Let's start your practices'' Marianne said.

'' y- yeah sure, but what exactly are we going to practice?'' Luana looked at Marianne.

Marianne laughed and flipped her ponytail again. ''What do you think , It is SELF - DEFENSE!!!!!'' She winked at Luana. A scene of he her beloved aunt laughing like a maniac and swinging her sword around her head crossed Luana's mind and Luana laughed awkwardly.

''ALL RIGHTIE LET'S BEGIN THEN'' Marianne said energetically.

''u- huh hah ah ha haha hehe, Auntie aren't you a bit over excited ? Besides I still haven't completed my studies'' Luana said nervously.

''I already know that you are brilliant at your studies Lune .Do you know anything about self defense?'' Marianne asked. Luana shook her head saying no.

Marianne sighed and said ''Well then let's start from the very beginning. watch me carefully and do that exact thing after me'' Marianne swung her sword gracefully Luana was mesmerized just by looking at that move.

''Don't just look at me , come on do it ''Marianne said.

Luana got a sword from the weapon stand. ''Why is this sword super heavy? '' Luana thought. She tried to swing it , but no , instead she fell down with the sword . It was heavy for her . Then she tried to swing it again but the results were the same. She felt like she is falling through an endless pit .She felt like some kind of ball was stuck in her throat. Tears started to weld up in her eyes. She felt that it was the same feeling she got when she was all alone in the forest and when she was inside the flying carriage. Yes, It was another panic attack. She thought she was going to die.

''Lune?'' Marianne touched Luana's shoulder. Marianne saw that something was wrong with Luana. ''Perhaps we should practice again tomorrow Luana , You can get always try again you know that '' Marianne said while patting her from behind.

''Y- yeah perhaps I should '' Luana answered.

almost two weeks passed peacefully. Luana had progress with her sword skills. She could lift up the sword without any issues . She was so happy and full- spirited .

Luana was brilliant at everything except for sword- mastering. No matter how much she tried she could not keep up with others. She practiced and practiced every day but she could not .

''Marianne, you should not rush Lune to learn sword mastering '' Phillip said

He was looking that the training grounds from his study . Marianne was also inside Phillip' s study going through some of Phillip's documents.

''I know but .. I don't want her to be in danger'' Marianne replied. ''I do not understand , she is good at everything but when it comes to swords she can't help it ''

''Have you heard about the rumours ?'' Phillip glanced at Marianne

''Rumours ? '' Marianne looked puzzled.

Phillip sighed. ''Open my left drawer , there is a brown coloured file in it ''

Marianne opened the drawer and got the file out. She opened it looking puzzled. Her eyes widened seeing it .

''What on Earth is this ? Are you f-

''Language'' Phillip interrupted

''Sorry ,WHAT ON BLOODY EARTH IS THIS ?'' Marianne asked.

''People outside our borders have been saying stuff like this '' Phillip said with a heavy sigh.

"What is wrong with them?'' Marianne said

''We can never do anything with the gossips and rumours outside our walls '' Phillip said

''Does she know ?'' Marianne asked

''No , We have to make sure -

''You don't need to Grand- pa ,I already know about it '' Phillip was cut off by Luana .

''Lune !? , what are you doing here?'' Marianne asked with concern.

''I am really fine Auntie , I have already heard the rumour '' Luana said.

''What rumour . That is pure nonsense Luana , you do not need to worry about that . I will handle it.'' Phillip said.

''Selendelle's heir is a cursed child and .. and some stuff '' Luana said with an emotionless face.

''And besides they aren't really wrong, I really am a cursed child after all '' Luana smiled at Phillip and Marianne and then she walked out of the room.

''Luana ..'' Marianne tried to talk .

''I am really fine, you guys don't need to worry. I'm sleepy ... so Good Night'' with that Luana went away.

She swung into her room , She was not okay. She was deeply hurt.She saw her reflection in the mirror. Pain started to flood in to her body. Her lips started tremble.

''Maybe.... maybe it's better this way '' She told herself .

Moonlight poured into Luana's room through her windows , drowning the room with hints of comfort. Luana snuggled under her blankets allowing herself to run away from the reality.

Day- light washed all the busy buildings of Great Avonlea as usual. A royal knight was dashing through the castle walls making his way towards the Queen's study.

''I have a message for the Queen'' the knight said and the guards opened the doors of Queen's study immediately.

''Your majesty'' He extended some papers for Alice to read.

Alice's facial expressions changed rapidly while she was reading the paper.

''What on Earth is this ?!'' Alice yelled furiously. She was flaming with anger.

''That's what people have been gossiping around , your majesty '' The knight replied Alice.

''Is this true?'' She asked again.

''It is true I'm afraid, I myself went to confirm the said things on the paper'' The knight replied.

''To where? From where did you confirm this stupid talks of people?'' Alice was said.

''The bars , down the streets, Markets .. literally everywhere people hang out '' He replied .

''Oh my god , What's wrong with them '' Alice was frustrated .

''Certain someone must be in the seventh heaven Grand mother '' Harry entered into Alice's study.

Alice signed the knight to leave then alone.

''Harry , what are you doing here love?'' Alice asked from Harry .She was too stunned to think anything . She did not wanted any of the children to suffer from misdoings of adults.

''I have also heard about it Gran- ma '' Harry said calmly.

''Heard about what?'' She asked from harry again , surprised.

''Things people have been telling about Princess Luana'' Harry said.

''Lune ? How did you know Harry?'' Alice asked from Harry

''Gran- ma do you have any progress on Lune?'' Harry avoided her question.

Alice shook her head saying no to Harry. He knew that her Grand mother would never let him know about Luana's updates because it is dangerous to do so ....
