Chapter 27: Stay With Me

A bang was heard from across the room, accompanied by our screams and I know what it meant. I had my eyes closed and waited for the bullet to hit me. I was tied to the chair, with the gun pointed at me, no way of getting out of the bullet's way. I sat there, hopelessly waiting for the bullet to hit me, but no pain came, not even a scrap, I then heard a thud in front of me, followed by scampering of feet.

"Hands up! Put the gun down!" I opened my eyes and saw policemen cramming inside the living room we are in. I looked back at Vodka and saw her raise her hand with the gun and slowly bent down to put it on the floor. As I followed her every move, tears fell from my eyes, and I finally figure out where the bullet went.
