As the three individuals safely retreated back within the formation, the crack that had opened on the light curtain immediately sealed, and a complete pale golden light shield reappeared, with the formation once again set into motion.

Watching the three slip away right before its eyes and return to the formation, the Cedar Beast chieftain seethed with rage. It opened its mouth and spat out several ice orbs, attacking the defensive array and venting its fury upon it.

A few loud noises were heard, but the light of the formation only flickered a few times, without any excessively violent reaction.

However, the ice orbs spat out by the demonic beasts were limited and could not be used endlessly. The two beast chieftains had already expended a large number of ice orbs during the fierce battle, so there were not many left for attacking in the short term.

With just these two beasts attacking, the power was very limited; against this defensive formation, there was simply no solution.
