Misunderstanding - [ Chapter - 12 ]

So then Nari spoke again using the multi language spell and asked, "How are we evil spirits? We are pure spirits?", then the girl named Avgil shouted, "Really? Then why did you attack these innocent PEOPLE?".

Nari was now extremely mad because it seems the hunters and mercenary from before made her the bad guy so then Nari shouted, "OH INNOCENT? ASK THEM WHAT REALLY HAPPENED WHEN THEY ENTERED THE FOREST!".

Then Avgil was confused since they definitely said they were wrongly attack so then she went up to their leader then asked, "What WERE you doing at the time you were in the forest?" and of course they didn't think that far ahead.

They couldn't give her an answer so she stomped her foot to the ground and used a spell that Nari hasn't seen or heard of before and she shouted, "Truth!" then suddenly mana wraps around the leader.

After that Avgil again asked, "What did you do in that forest?", then the leader tried to keep his mouth shut but then his eyes turned blue then he wasn't resisting anymore and he said, "Trafficking monsters and animals.".

The moment they said that she dropped him onto the floor as he fell unconscious after the spell and it seemed like the spell she used was a truth spell but it was more different since it relaxed the person rather than forcing them.

Avgil then got mad because she was made out like a fool and she was just attacking the innocent spirits that just protected their home so then her fist started filling up with high amounts of mana and then she punched the ground.

As soon as her fist hit the ground a huge quake could be felt in the village and then she started using her fists to punch the people around her since they tried to use her foe their own evil desires and she was just playing right in their hands.

So Avgil took down all of them with her fists and she shouted, "I'm sorry for the incident, they told me lies and I believed them, this is not an excuse, it is my fault as well so I hope you'll forgive me.", she said as she said sincerely.

Then Nari decided to show herself and so she jumped forward and showed her true self to Avgil, then she asked, "Do you think I am a monster?", then Avgil eyes started to glow a blue flame as she looked at Nari.

It was her skill as a magic knight, her unique magic was called, "Truth Seeker" and the spell she was using was called, "True Rating" which shows the percentage of good and bad things someone has done with their life.

And Avgil saw that Nari was 100% good, she was surprised since she never thought that someone with a high score was a monster so she decided to say, "No, your not, you have never done anything bad so you can't be called a monster.".

Nari was happy about that and so she decided to leave as well sonce she realized that Avgil was a good person as well but she really wanted to have her unique magic as well but then a blue flaming aura dropped as Avgil left.

Then the aura started floating and then hit Nari at the back, the spirits who were watching didn't see the aura but Nari felt it hit her back and then she realized it was a type of mana and so she tried seeing what it was.

After checking it she realized that it was exactly like Avgil's mana when she casted her unique magic so Nari was really thankful to her but what she didn't know was that wasn't on purpose and it was purely by accident.

So then Nari wanted to try one of Avgil's spells as well and she tried the true rating spell and checked the spirits if they had done anything bad an most of them had a 90% good rating but there was one with a 90% evil rating.

Then Nari asked the village head, "Who is that?" as she pointed with the spirit that had a 90% evil rating and then the village head answered saying, "That's one of the new spirit travellers that became our resident why?".

Nari didn't say anything and decided to test her theory and tried using the spell, "Banish" that she learned from the spirits which only hurts does who are evil and then when the spell hit the evil spirit he got greatly damaged.

Then she asked, "Did you see that?", the village head who was happy that there wasn't a fight with the human called the Spirit Hunter was now angry that there was an evil spirit among them and he shouted.

"WHO ARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU HERE?", then the evil spirit started to chuckle and say, "If it weren't for the punt frog the plans would of worked and I wouldn't have been caught but I guess it went all to ashes.".

As the spirit tried to attack Nari before it died but then Nari uses banish again and it was stronger than before then as he was being banished the evil spirit asked shouting, "HOW WERE YOU ABLE TO CAST IT THAT FAST!?!".

Then the evil spirit dissipated and then Nari went to the village head and said, "I apologized that I killed a resident of the village but as you saw je tried to attack me and so I just defended myself.".

She said this because the spirits protect each other and that is their pride in their village and they hate people who kill their residents but the village head said, "He was no resident, just a spy from the evil spirits.".

He turned around and said to one of the elite spirits, "Tell the village of the spy and announce our friend that helped stop the war and find the spy of the village." then the spirit went off to make the announcement.

The village head went to their library and brought out a book, when Nari saw the book she was really excited since she thought it could be some more spirit magic and very strong ones at that.

Then the village head went to Nari then gave the book to her and said, "Here, it is a book filled with every spell known to our spirit kind and there are even some spells that are not well known in our village.".

As Nari expected it was her reward and so Nari transported the book into the dimensional fracture and then said, "Thanks! I will practice it everyday!" then she went back to the house and also set a beacon so she knew where the village was.
