Chapter 3

Blanka's POV

Amusement park

Zac locked me and ran back inside the park. I was really worried and tried getting out of the car which was impossible. Soon there were few people surrounding the car. They were wearing uniforms and by their actions they meant no harm towards me.

After waiting for a while I saw Raiener running towards the car. He seemed confused to see so many people around the car. One of them stepped forward and took the car keys from him and entered the car.

My house

11:45 am

I stood there along with Raiener checking his wounds. Few scratches here and there. I felt bad that he was trapped in the amusement park. Suddenly I asked.

"Raiener? How did you escape?", I asked curiously. "Zac came over and told me to run and that he'll be with us soon", he replied. Soon?it's been so long! Where the hell is he?

"Where's Zac?", I asked one of the men who was guarding my house like I was gonna get murdered.

"I'm sorry miss, I can't tell you that but he's safe for now", he said. What the hell is wrong with their heads?!

4:25 pm

I was sitting on the couch motionless. I felt as if something bad had happened to Zac and I desperately wanted to see him to make sure he was ok. Suddenly my phone rang and I saw Zac's number displaying on it. Without thinking anything further I picked up the call.

"Raiener and you are ok right?", He asked trying to sound as normal as possible but I knew he wasn't okay. "Yea' what about you?", I asked. "M ok", he said.

Liar, as if I believe him! "Where the hell are you Zac?", I asked. "I'm good I'll meet you guys soon", he said and suddenly the line went dead.

"Hey, I wanna see Zac", I told Raiener and went to one of the guards who was the only one who had replied me so far.

"I wanna see Zac", I said looking for no argument but as if. "Sorry miss, we were told not to let you go anywhere unsafe", he said and turned back. "Look mister I don't care but Zac called me", I said clearly.

Suddenly a tall figure appeared in front to whom the guards bowed whom I assume must be someone important.

"I'm here to pick Ms.Reziknov", he said walking towards me. I quickly followed him just to get out of the house.

I followed him inside the car without any question. He was the only way to see Zac. "I wanna see Zac", I said as we sat in the car. "I was told to do quite opposite of that", he said and looked ahead.

"Hey, whoever you are, important or not I wanna see Zac, so just shut up drive me to him now!", I said in a dominant voice. He sighed. "Name's Caleb, Zac's right hand",he said.

"You are really like what he told me, hell stubborn", he said. What's with right hand and all that stuff? Is it even part of starting a company?

"I don't give a shit so just take me where Zac is", I said anger boiling and getting the best of me. "Fine. I know I'm going to regret this in future", he sighed.

Soon we pulled up in front of a --hospital?! "Why the hell are we in front of a hospital?", I asked as the colour of my face starting to drain. "Don't talk inside if you wanna see him", he said as he opened my door. I was dumfounded.

We were in front of operation theatre waiting for doctor to come out. When I reached, there were already a few people around. All dressed in a similar uniform. "Caleb, you weren't supposed to get her here!", One of the girls yelled at him.

"She wouldn't budge. She wanted to see Zac", he replied. "If Zac finds out she's here he's gonna slit our throats!", the girl said.

"Riley? Go home, I'll take care from here", Caleb said. "I'm fine", she said dismissively. Caleb rolled his eyes. "Really? What do you women take me for? No respect at all!", He said sighing. He told some women to take Riley for resting against her wishes.

"You care a lot for her", I said making him blush a little. He brushed it off and said he was going to get everyone water.

6:00  pm

The door of the operation room opened revealing the doctor and nurses. "Who is Caleb here?", He asked and Caleb stepped forward. "He's out of danger however he has a serious wound. He won't be able to use his arm for a while", the doctor explained.

"He'll be awake in few hours. Rest assured", these were doctors last words before leaving. After my insistence we decided to be awake simultaneously.

It was nearly midnight and my hunger had died. Caleb forced me to eat and I drank a glass of water. That's the only thing I ate throughout the day.

"Blanka-- bl-la-nka--a", I suddenly heard him waking up. I moved closer to him after waking Caleb. Caleb went to call the doctor while I sat on the stool next to his bed.

"Yes Zac I'm here", I said taking his uninjured hand in my hands. "Why are you here? It's not safe--", I cut him off. "Shhhh. I'm okay. How is your arm?", I asked. He slightly nodded. Soon the doctor came to check up on him and he drifted off to sleep again.

Hospital room

2 weeks later

It's been two weeks and Zac's health has been better. He woke up time to time in between. Caleb would usually pick me up in the morning and drop me off in the evening. Raiener also came to visit Zac twice.

I would bring him soup and he would quietly drink without any complaints. Raiener had been acting weird these days and I didn't know why. He was even snapping at me for no reason. I planned on ignoring him as much as I could.

I reached home early today to hear weird noises from Raiener's room. I opened his room to see a girl all over him. I was surprised to the point that I was numb. They suddenly realised my existence. Raiener backed away from the girl and started walking towards me.

"Blanka, it's not what it looks like. I can explain. She forced herself on me", he said and my eyes scanned the room. If I had come a while later I don't know what I would have seen.

"Yea, right and you both are undressed", I spoke anger getting to display on my face.

"Raiener, we are done. Get the hell out of here with that bitch!", I said anger getting the best of me.

"Please, don't blame it on me! You said your girlfriend won't be back until late. I'm outta here", that girl said and walked away. I knew it. No wonder he's been acting like this.

Raiener why did you do this?!
