After a few tries my mom's phone was reachable so I contacted her. I told her I was okay with her decision though deep down the person whom I ever loved and will love is probably Zac.

Is this it? Am I going to get married to an unknown guy and what the hell! This doesn't make sense at all. My mom sent me a picture on my phone with the caption Lucas Ryder....

It was then that I realised this man was no one other than Lucas himself! The Lucas whom I had breakfast with! Shit! "It could have been worse", I consoled myself. Suddenly I received a text from Lucas.

Zac's POV

I had a meeting with one of the companies I'm going to invest, this weekend. My phone vibrates and a message popped up. I opened to see the message.

And I went offline. I don't know what he has in mind now. Getting married all of a sudden? I thought he "loved someone" secretly. Nevermind none of my business.

4:00 pm

Zac attended the meeting and and was well satisfied since he was able to bargain the deal to his benefit. He didn't want to meet his cousin that formally since he called him and asked him to dress like a cousin and not business partner.

He changed into white shirt and black ripped jeans and shoes to go with them. He knew he looked good and went to meet his cousin and cousin-in-law to be. He was curious as to why his jerk cousin agreed to a marriage since he always thought marriages makes you loose freedom.

Zac's POV

I arrived at the said room to find my stupid cousin sitting alone. "Yah, I thought you wouldn't come", he said with a bright smile. "Anyways I came so what's the deal with your marriage?", I asked. "Ahhh, I'm getting married next week", he said. I chocked on my drink. "Next week?", I asked.

"Yea, my wifey to be is so good, you know something you will never find", He teased. "I thought you 'loved someone' ", I said recalling when he used to talk about how good she was.

"Yah, I think I'm the luckiest man cuz I'm going to marry that girl", he said. "Wow! Congratulations I guess", I said putting my hand forward for a hand shake. "Yah, don't be formal come here!", He said hugging me.

Few minutes passed by and I  spoke. "Where your bride to be? Did she run away?", I joked. "Yah, there's a lot of traffic. I'll text her", he said pulling out his phone and texting.

She arrived after few minutes. "I'm sorry I am late, some business made me run late", I heard a familiar voice. I turned around to see ---BLANKA?! I was shook. Our eyes met and we stared at each other for a few seconds before my cousin interrupted.

"Yah, stop staring at my wife to be", Lucas said jokingly as he intervened their hands. She hesitated for a while but then just did what Lucas wanted. I was surprised would be an understatement because I was devastated and traumatized.

The fact that the only girl I ever loved was going to get married and that was with my cousin. "Hello, I'm Blanka. Nice to meet you", she said in a normal tone pretending to see me for the first time in her life.

I quickly followed," Zac, nice to meet you too". I was flinching every now then when u would see Lucas touching Blanka. I tried hiding as much as u could. "You don't look too well", Lucas remarked at the change of environment.

"Yea, I'm kinda sick. I'm sorry I'll join you guys some other time", I said standing up ready to leave. "By the way don't forget to attend my wedding", he spoke excitedly. I didn't want to ruin his happiness.

Millions of questions crossed my mind but all of them were unanswered. I still loved her and there was no doubt. I always thought u had moved on and it wouldn't affect me anymore but I guess I was totally wrong...

Lucas POV

I could feel the unspoken tension in the room. Was there something I didn't know about? Why did it feel like cousin and Blanka are hiding something?

"Lucas I'm sorry too, I don't feel quite well today. I'll make up to you next time", Blanka said getting up to leave. I gave her a small smile. There was definitely something going on that I didn't know about.

I wasn't stupid. "Yea, I'll drop you that is if it's fine with you", I said giving her a bright smile which caused her to smile back and replied, "Thank you".

We reached her house and she got out of the car. Before going in she looked at me, "Lucas are you sure this marriage will work?", She suddenly asked me. I could sense her doubt and I wanted her to be comfortable and take things slow.

"Yes, I'll do everything to make this relationship work. Don't worry ok?", I asked while rubbing my thumb on her either cheeks. She seemed convinced and suddenly spoke in a lot brighter tone, "I'll do my best to make it work for us".

I stood there as she entered her house smiling like an Idiot. I could never get enough of her. God, I do love her a lot I guess.....
