Kaiden arrived at the Campus clinic a little over some twenty minutes before 8. A.M. 

As he sauntered through the main corridor of the facility, he adjusted the bouquet in his hand. He seemed very excited today. He also had a box of rich chocolates in his other hand. 

He was well aware of the sideways glances a couple of nurses and patients stole at him. His only bother was that he did not know if the attention he was getting was because of how handsome he was looking this morning(—of course, he knew quite well how much care he'd pumped into his looks this morning. He was certainly out to impress Jake); He also didn't know if the mischievous glances was because of the items he was holding onto. Perhaps, since he was Kaiden Chase, the Mayor's son, everyone wanted to poke their noses into his business to know what lucky girl had finally succeeded in capturing his cold heart.
