Hours long after breakfast, Kaiden resigned to lazing on his bed. After his brief fallout with his mum over breakfast, she'd walked him up to her luxurious bedroom where she settled him over for some serious talk.

''Look here, Kai. I believe I have tolerated your misbehaviour enough.'' She bellowed at him; her chest heaving up and down.

''Is that why you made me miss breakfast?''

''Do you truly think food is more important than my reprimand just now?''

''Uh, yeah… '' He stressed before walking over to her dresser to lean.

''How much more ridiculous can you get, Kai?''

''Yes, young man. You're behaving like some brat.''
