To Love And To Hate

This is a story of betrayal, love lost, and love found again. Kim Haewon, radiantly beautiful and unsuspecting, finds herself irresistibly drawn to Jake Davies, a man she perceives as her knight in shining armor, who always appears miraculously at crucial moments in her life. Little does she know that their encounters were not mere coincidences, as she had assumed. Jake is a man on a mission, driven by the manipulations of his grandmother. Consumed by a thirst for revenge for his father's tragic demise, he is determined to rectify the past and reclaim what he believes is rightfully his. In order to achieve this, he sets his sights on winning the heart of Kim Haewon, the sole heiress to the fortune he seeks to acquire. However, what Jake never anticipated was the unexpected twist of fate that led him to fall deeply in love while orchestrating his deceitful plan to steal the affection of the woman he was meant to despise. Can he afford to allow love to blossom between himself and the daughter of his enemies? (Photo Credit to the real owner of cover photo! It’s not mine)

Worried wife

After her class ended the next day, Haewon looked around the hall for any trace of Jake since it was supposed to be a combined class. She frowned when she didn't see him.

When she entered the class, she had looked around to see if he had already arrived, but when she didn't see him, she had assumed he was running late and had left the space next to her vacant for him, in case he joined her later.

Looking around and not seeing him now, she couldn't help the feeling of disappointment that enveloped her.

On her way to school, she had thought of various questions to ask him just to have him around her much longer. She had also taken her time to pick out a nice dress since he had made it a habit of complimenting her look.

In just a few days of constantly calling, texting, and showing up randomly to say hello to her after classes, she had somehow become accustomed to seeing him and hearing from him. Not seeing him now felt sort of strange to her.
