To Love And To Hate

This is a story of betrayal, love lost, and love found again. Kim Haewon, radiantly beautiful and unsuspecting, finds herself irresistibly drawn to Jake Davies, a man she perceives as her knight in shining armor, who always appears miraculously at crucial moments in her life. Little does she know that their encounters were not mere coincidences, as she had assumed. Jake is a man on a mission, driven by the manipulations of his grandmother. Consumed by a thirst for revenge for his father's tragic demise, he is determined to rectify the past and reclaim what he believes is rightfully his. In order to achieve this, he sets his sights on winning the heart of Kim Haewon, the sole heiress to the fortune he seeks to acquire. However, what Jake never anticipated was the unexpected twist of fate that led him to fall deeply in love while orchestrating his deceitful plan to steal the affection of the woman he was meant to despise. Can he afford to allow love to blossom between himself and the daughter of his enemies? (Photo Credit to the real owner of cover photo! It’s not mine)

Sunday Buddy

As Carter drove them to church, at intervals, he would glance at Ivy and smile each time she met his gaze.

"Is there something on my face? This is like the fifth time you're doing that," Ivy said when she caught him looking at her again.

"Doing what?" He asked innocently.

"Stealing glances at me," Ivy said dryly.

"You can't call it stealing since I'm being obvious. I'm staring at you," He said unashamedly.

"So, why are you doing that? Do I have something weird on my face?" She asked with a slightly raised brow.

"There is nothing weird on your face. Everything is just so beautiful and perfect. Maybe that's why I can't help staring," He said, and Ivy turned her face away when she felt a blush creep up her face.

"Thanks. You look good, too, but you don't see me staring," She said, and Carter chuckled.

"If I looked anything like you, I promise you would stare, too," Carter said as he pulled into the church premises, and Ivy smiled.
