"Too bad, you threw away your humanity already. Show me the power of the Reaper." He said
"I will protect them all. I have the power now." I explained.
"We shall see." The demon chuckled
He flipped the sword backwards, towards himself and plunged it into his body. Pulling the sword out, he held the blood soaked blade toward the sky. Preforming some sort of incantation, the blood and the blade both began to glow a crimson red.
"FALL" He yelled.
The blood from the blade began to swirl around him. It continued to expand, our hero noticed this and wondered how he could save everyone with his limited knowledge and power.
"Use me." The same voice rang in his mind
"But how do I use you?" I beckoned.
"Say my incantation." The voice said.
"In death's wake I stand, giving guidance to lost spirits. I defend those who are in the light or the dark. I protect!" The voice and I said simultaneously.
The lions head on the shield turned into a skull, changed from a dull red and black into a stone black. It became more stocky, almost like the top case to a coffin. The shield was bigger but not heavier.
The blood that was swirling around the blade, shot outwards in a spiral towards everything in both armies.
"INFINITE AEGIS." The voice shouted in my mind.
Swatting towards the demon, protective auras appeared around everyone. Successfully protecting every single person.
"Reflect." I chanted.
Blood rebounded back towards him. It shot through his body, like a knife through lambs skin. The vile blood kept pushing him upwards, not allowing him to touch the ground. His limp body was filled with holes. Following up, I flew upwards and pelted him with the newly augmented shield. The blow sent him into the ground, creating a large almost town sized crater.
In the midst of the rubble and dust, there was a crimson glow. The demonic blood was swirling around him once more, his body shaking this time and producing odd movements or shakes. His form was shaping and changing. Growing larger, almost ripping out of his skin, he was going to show me what a demon truly is.
