1. My Territory

---- Ryan's POV ----

Hello everyone! My name is Ryan Decor, and I am the Alpha of my own pack "Moon Thirst". I will be twenty soon, I have my birthday the next month. When I took the step ahead and became the Alpha everybody thought that I was still young to be the Alpha, to handle all the work, and lead the pack, I was sixteen back then.

My elder brother and my father died in the enemy's hands and my pack saw its demise, I was ten years old. At that time our Luna decided that we should hand over our territory to the enemy, I was powerless back then and didn't do anything back then but the rage inside me was pent up. The pack followed Luna's command. Until I became Alpha, we do not have our own territory we were just refugees who can be kicked out anytime, after I became Alpha the first thing I did was take our territory back. The Luna doesn't want me to take the position and her allies opposed me but when I won our territory back with my beta and other wolves no one raised his voice against me.

You must be thinking why I am not referring the Luna as my mother because she wasn't. She was the second chance mate to my father. And I never considered her as a mother.

I can feel the darkness inside me growing whenever I am reminded of her. But she still has the power within the pack. She's still the Luna, I haven't found my mate until yet.

She isn't from my pack, other wolves found their mate by the age of sixteen, they are found mostly within the pack.

"Huh..."

I don't know when I will be meeting her.

Right now, I am here in my office working my a*s out, checking all the documents. And here by my side is my beta Jeon-soo, he just came in just now. He is one of the wolves that fight with me to get back to the territory, obviously, he is the most trusted one. I think he wants to say something to me.

I put down the pen in my hand on the table and turned towards him.

"Is there anything you have to report to me?"

"Ahhh....! actually it's night already, I was thinking if we could wrap up all the work here."

"Huh..", I turned and looked outside the window it was dark outside. I just emerge myself to work and didn't notice the time.

"Tell others to leave. You are coming with me, we will head to check the territory first.", suddenly I felt a warm fluid flowing through my nostrils.

"Your nose, it's bleeding again.", Jeon-soo came closer to me bringing his handkerchief.

I touched my nose, it was bleeding. I took the handkerchief from his hand and blocked the bleeding, throwing my head to the back.

"Even your nose is bleeding now, I will go check over the omegas guarding the territory. You go back and rest for now.", Jeon-soo closed the file I was looking at earlier and placed it with other files.

I stood up from the chair and went to the bathroom keeping my head up.

"Hey, he is right. Let's close, for now, your health does affect mine."

That was my wolf, Arian.

"I got it.", I answered my wolf.

"Jeon-soo, I am leaving the paperwork here, I will continue it tomorrow. Let's go toward the territory first."

"You have to take care of your health.", "You have to take care of your health."

My wolf and my Beta said simultaneously and aggressively.

"Are you commanding me right now.", I said glaring at Jeon-soo, I can easily intimidate people.

"I didn't mean that, I was just worried about you."

I know he didn't mean anything wrong, but I can't bear to be commanded by anyone.

"Our territory is more important than oneself.", I replied to both my Wolf as well as Jeon-soo.

"You have to listen to me, although it will be me who will be running around.", my wolf replied he is angry with me.

But who cares even if I transform, I will have control over the body, not him. For others, their wolves have control of their wolf forms once they convert themselves, it doesn't affect much of their judgment as the two always have the same mindset.

"As you say Alpha. I will inform everyone to wrap up the work." after that Jeon-soo opened the mind link and told everyone to leave.

My bleeding stopped soon.

"Let's go."

I opened the window and jumped from there, and transformed myself into my wolf form. After me, Jeon-soo too jumped from the window and transformed himself.

My wolf's fur is purple and Jeon-soo's wolf is of pitch black color.

Purple is quite rare among the wolves, my fur is exactly like the night sky on a full moon night.

Because of our dark-colored fur, we both can easily hide in the bushes.

We both ran towards our territories' periphery first, and with our speed, we soon arrived there.

There are a lot of omegas guarding the territory, but I still prefer to check by myself once to see if there is someone who is lacking or if there is any problem.

We first went to the northern periphery, then the eastern, and then the southern. Now, only the western part remains, we ran that side looking for traces of any rouge or other pack wolves. We reached there, the guards seems to be talking about something.

"Is there any problem?", Jeon-soo asked the guards.

"One of the guards brought this little pup.", the guard replied.

"I find him while I went to check my area, he isn't from our pack. But he is too young to be left there alone.", the other guard said. He may be the one who found him.

"It's not a big matter that you have to leave your post for, you can just inform your head and he will handle the things further.", Jeon-soo said scolding the guards.

"For how long you all were standing here leaving your post?", everybody was silenced by my words.

How could they leave their post and gathered here just to talk about something.

None of them said anything, they kept their head down.

"Go to your places right now.", I roared loudly, everyone ran back to their places.

"What should we do with the kid, Alpha?", the head of the western periphery asked.
