It was safe to say Tao didn't sleep that entire night. He had lingered over the railings, peering into the shallow depths of the ocean, half-hoping he could see some bubbles surfacing from around the area the merman had disappeared in.
But nothing.
At least no bodies started floating in the throes of the waves, or there would have been an entire clan of mermaids out for blood.
Brother Zhou just had to ruin their little moment!
But Tao couldn't really blame the man. He treated Tao like a baby brother, and a naked hunk of meat making his moves on Tao in the middle of the night must have looked suspicious.
Tao just hoped his hunkyness was well and surviving. He didn't want the star of his less than admirable dreams to die such an unjust death – and definitely not before Tao was pinned down, or kissed until his toes curled and fell off.
