Shopping for the first time

"Mummy why is Uncle Eli coming with us?" said Sora as he holds Xyleria's hand. "Partner," said Xyleria. "What kind of partner? Fiancé? Or work-related?" asked Ryuu. "I and Leria are best buds, we been together since our teen days till today. Are you jealous? Hmm..." said Elijah as he smirks at Ryuu.

"No. 'I keep forgetting that I am in another world and both worlds are not related to each other.'" Said Ryuu as he thought the latter part to himself, feeling depressed.

"Eli, lead the way, today, clothes and dinner," said Xyleria as she frowns at the map of the shopping mall. "Huh?! Ohh right since you rarely step out of your house and workstation, I guess it is your first time coming here. No Problem! leave it to me" said Elijah as he leads the way to a department store.

The department store is huge, selling from clothes to facial products to kitchen utensils and etc.

"Let's go-to men's wear first, Leria you take the kid to the children's wear area to buy, it will be more time-efficient this way." Said Elijah while pushing Xyleria and Sora toward the children's clothes section. Xyleria nodded and held Sora's hands to buy clothes.

After Xyleria and Sora left. Elijah led Ryuu to the men's wear to buy clothes. "Why do I feel that you disagree with me and my son living together when you are the one who proposed the idea?" said Ryuu as he stops in his tracks.

"I didn't expect you to be sensitive to people. Well, I advise you to not grow close to Leria. And why did I propose the idea? Good question, but I am afraid I cannot answer your question." Said Elijah as he picks up some clothes to buy.

"Why can't you answer my question? Plus what do mean not grow close to Xyleria?." Said Ryuu as he also picks some clothes while looking at Elijah. "Secret." Said Elijah putting a finger to his lips. 'Xyleria will forget them anyway, and also… 'Elijah thought to himself shaking his head getting rid of the thought.

'Oh this is the children section, what do people usually buy?' as Xyleria flips through some clothes.

"Hello, how can I help? Are you looking for clothes for your son? What is your son's age? Are there any specific clothes you are looking for? Like Pyjamas or daily wear or for an event?" said the shop assistant.

Why are there so many questions? Do they usually ask a lot of questions? "Clothes for age 6, both daily wear and Pyjamas." Said Xyleria. "This way please," said the shop assistant.

The shop assistant led them to the new arrivals section and promotes the clothes to Xyleria. 'What? cotton 100%, comfortable? Stylish? Cartoon? HUhh?!!' as Xyleria trying to understand what the Shop assistant was introducing. "Sora pick whichever one you like. This godmother will buy for you" said Xyleria while she browses other children's clothes.

"I like any clothes you pick mummy." Said Sora as he clings to Xyleria's leg. "Why do you like to cling to my leg? I have no need for a leg accessory." Said Xyleria. "Mummy you don't like me?" said Sora as he tears up. Why does he cry so easily?

"No. You can cling to my leg just make sure you don't get injured." Said Xyleria. "Give me these and these and those shoes. Those pajamas I want the cat and lion also I want 5 towels" said Xyleria as she orders the shop assistant to help her.

"Anything else?" said the shop assistant thinking she will get a lot of commission just from 1 customer.

"I will take a look around." Said Xyleria as she carries Sora walking toward the expensive clothes section.

'hmm.. these clothes feel comfortable I guess I will buy them for Sora.' As Xyleria held the clothes going toward the cashier. Suddenly a lady grabs the clothes from Xyleria. "Hmm.. this clothe is nice, assistant I would like to buy this." Said the rude lady.

"Excuse me, I took the clothes first, mind giving it back to me," said Xyleria. "You haven't made the payment yet, so I still have a chance to buy it". "Mummy," said Sora as he hugs Xyleria. "It's ok. I get someone to customize your own clothes instead." Said Xyleria as she walks to the cashier to make her payment.

'Customise clothes this single mother thinks she can just get someone to customize a child's clothes. I bet she can't even afford to buy these clothes that cost a few hundred.' Thought the rude lady.

"Are you here to make payment for this clothe?" said the cashier. "Yes. How much is it?" said the rude lady. "The total cost is $5000. Will you be paying in cash or card?" asked the cashier.

"5..5…5000!! How can a child's clothes cost that much? Are you guys cheating your customers of their money!" shouted the rude lady. "This customer this clothes comes from a famous brand for children wear, it uses high-quality material, and it is designed by a well-known designer. Which is why it is expensive." Said the cashier.

"Let me confirm your purchase with you Madam, 10 sets of daily wear and pajamas. 5 pairs of shoes, 5 towels, 3 sets of bedsheets, 10 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of indoor slippers, 30cm teddy bear and delivery service." Said the shop assistant confirming the list of purchases.
