Amusement Park

Soon, everyone was waiting outside as KI brings a family-sized car from the garage. Xyleria who was dragged out by Elijah was wearing a light green dress that the kids chose threw her car key at him and went to the front passenger seat. Elijah who caught the car key quickly went to the driver seat and started the car. Everyone was in the car except Grandfather Einhart who went to play mahjong at the nearest community center.

When they arrived at the amusement park, there was a long queue at the ticket booth. William made a call, and a staff wearing the amusement park's uniform came out. "Good Afternoon, Mr. Lynford. Here are your tickets, you can enter the park through the express gate." Said the staff that seems to be the manager. The group then enter the amusement park, the kids were so excited they ran in with their father running after them.

Elijah was also excited, he pulled Xyleria along to the rides. Xyleria who was holding the camera took pictures of Sora and Liam enjoying the kids' rides with their father, while Elijah went on the roller coaster. It was a wonder how Xyleria managed to take a photo of Elijah screaming on the ride. After a whole day of playing around, everyone was hungry and they went to a restaurant that serves theme-style food.

As everyone was eating, Elijah asks Xyleria why didn't she went on the rides, Xyleria said that she prefers to watch them play. If only, she could stop her eye from changing colour which is seen as abnormal in this world. Maybe in her next life, if there is, she would go and play without the people around her avoiding her.

Soon nightfall arrives, and the parade is starting, Sora and Liam sat on their father's shoulder to see the parade. It was a light festival, and fireworks were set off. After the parade, they all went to the Ferris wheel. The view of the night skyline was beautiful, Elijah took the camera from Xyleria and ask her to seat with the father and sons, and took a photo.

Xyleria put on a small smile, as her eye glowed a hint of gold. Elijah who was checking the photo saw Xyleria's eyes looked a bit off as it has a hint of gold but shook it off and thought that it must be a light reflecting in her eyes. Not long, the Ferris wheel carriage reached the top, as everyone was looking out enjoying the scenery, the carriage had a sudden shook and the door that was locked fell off.

Liam who was standing near the door almost flew out if not for Xyleria quick reflexes. "Everyone remain seated! Stay away from the door." Ryuu held his son tightly, while Liam grabbed hold of Xyleria. William quickly made a call to ask about the situation, while Elijah frowned and message to someone when no one was looking. The Ferris wheel stopped moving, adding on the scare the entire Ferris wheel was shaking vigorously, there were people screaming and running to seek cover.

William who was on the call with the person in charge said "They didn't expect the door that they changed recently to break off, also they said there is currently an earthquake". Soon, an announcement sounded the entire amusement park asking everybody to remain calm and follow the staff's instructions. But the people who are in the Ferris wheel are stuck as the machine stopped working, even the emergency power is not kicking in.

Everyone on the ferris wheel carriage waited for help to arrive, the fire fighter came and rescued those on the lower carriage, but they cannot reach those above. Xyleria saw that the fire fighter equipment will not be able to reach them while there is still tremors from the earthquake, she called her boss to sent some planes to save the people on the upper half of the ferris wheel.

She then puts her phone on loudspeaker, to calm down the kids "Hiiiii! It's me! Sora, Liam did you guys have fun today? Eating cotton candy, the rides and the mascots. Tsk… you guys didn't invite me. Aren't we part of the playing team?". Said the CEO of ZΣRO empire. The two kids stopped shaking and the tears stopped. "Yes! We did have fun, we played shooting games, I got a huge teddy bear my father won for me!" said Sora as he wipes his tears. Liam also nodded along.

"Then, have no worries there are many fun things to do in life. Give me five minutes, my team will be there to save you. If you guys stay brave, good things will come!" said the CEO of ZΣRO empire. After 5 minutes, helicopters arrive, and the ground team is informed that there will be helicopters coming in.
