CH:21 Rescue Op .:Part.2:.

We make our way into the alien robot horde, painting the floor, walls and ceiling with their blood as we go. As I'm decorating my claws with their guts, I start to notice that the Kraang are constantly reclustering infront of a specific door.

"Maybe April is in there?!" I holler as I point at said door.

Just then a bunch more Kraang come busting into the hallway from the far end. "Go no further!", one says and the others take turns finishing the first Kraang's threat,

"This place is a place where you are not allowed to be in this place."

"We have been seen in this place by you."

"So, this is not a place that will be left by you." At this all the new Kraang start rushing at us from the end of the hallway, firing their guns the whole time.

I bare my fangs as I hiss in frustration, "You guys just HAD to keep saying this is easy!"

Mikey howls out in reply, "Hey! I didn't know there would be so many of them!"

Meanwhile, Donny started hacking the key pad for the door that I pointed at.

Leo and Raph were standing between all the new Kraang and us, reflecting their shots back at the Kraang with their swords and sais.

On the other side of Donny was Mikey and I. Ripping through what was left of the original Kraang mob.

I was literally tearing them apart with my claws. My main strategy was to cut their arms off before I plunge my hand into their chest, claws first. I would dig my claws into the squishy alien prize inside and rip it out of its robot exosuit. Often only tearing a chunk out and spraying their purple blood on the floor, but it's still enough to get the job done. Then I would usually kick the dead robot into another while I pick my next target. Occasionally I would have to use my tail to trip a Kraang that was trying to flank me. Then I would wrap my tail around the robots neck, popping the head off with a squeeze.

I hear maniacal giggling next to me so I glance over to see what Mikey was doing.

He was smacking the back of the Kraang bots hard enough with his nunchuck that the alien would pop out the front, through the buttons of the fancy business suit. Then he would jump on top of the squishy Kraang brain with both feet and a wild grin. Making it pop like a balloon as it's guts spray everywhere. Laughing the entire time.

"Damn Mikey", was the only thing I could mutter. 'And I thought I liked violence...' I couldn't help but think while my eyes got as wide as saucer plates.

"Check it out! Super Mikey Brothers! This is like the best balloon popping party I've ever been to!" Mikey giggles out like a kid as he keeps jumping on top of the squishy balloons as he calls them, like that little plumber dude in one of his favorite video games.

"Popping balloons behind us to scare us back at the lair is NOT a party, Mikey!" Raph growls out as he starts to engage in fighting what's left of the new horde of Kraang.

Leo sighs, "Focus guys. We are ninja! We are supposed to be silent." he preaches again as he starts slashing through the robots while jumping and spinning to make sure he doesn't get hit. With a quick glance at him I couldn't help but think that he kinda looked like a dancer with how smooth and graceful his movements are.

Even though we are sweeping the floor with these Kraang chumps, more keep piling into the hallway.

After removing a few more Kraang from their exosuits and throwing them on the ground towards Mikey to jump on, I look over my shoulder at Donny. "Any time now Don!"

He snaps back at me, "Do you think it's easy to pick a lock with these hands?!" He finishes with doing three fingered jazz hands before going back to work. Making me roll my eyes as I continue pulling out Kraang for Mikey.

Raph growls out, "We don't have time for this!" and goes over to Donny. Raph nudges him out of the way and proceeds to stab the key pad with all his anger.

A few moments later the door opens and we all rush inside. Donny immediately heads to the keypad on the inside. He hit a few buttons and the door slammed shut.

We turn around to see we are in a big open bare room with a bunch of people in two groups. One in each far corner. They were all on their knees with their hands tied behind their backs and sacks on their heads.

"Hostages?" Asked a very confused Donny.

Leo's T-phone starts to ring and when he answers it he has to move the phone away from his ear as Casey is freaking out on the other side.

With great curiosity I take a closer look at the people and I noticed that almost all of them are wearing lab coats. Well, all except for one that was smaller then the rest and wearing a yellow leather jacket.

"Hey there's April! And I think these are all the round up scientists that the Kraang were trying to abduct." I say as I walk towards April to untie her.

As Leo hangs up the T-phone he hollers, "Casey said there is a helicopter coming in form behind the building. We need to hur-"

But before he could finish his sentence the center of the exterior wall behind the hostages exploded inwards towards us. Knocking me back into the turtles and we all go flying into the wall behind us.

"This is definitely not easy." I growl out as I pick myself up and get off of the turtles so they can all get up.

"Yeah, it's like it got switched to hard mode on us!" Complains Mikey as he rubs his head.

"April!!" Yells Donny as he scrambles to get up and starts running towards the new opening.

I look up and notice that the Kraang have almost all the hostages in the helicopter, and they're just passing the last one over now which just so happened to be April.

Just then a gust of wind came through the alley and blew the sack off of April's head, revealing huge panic filled green eyes and a gag in her mouth.

The two Kraang that where trying to literally throw her into the helicopter stopped for a moment and looked back at us. One said "Kraang, fire at those ones known as the problem." And the Kraang inside the helicopter all start shooting at us while the first two continue to try and toss her into the helicopter.

Donny was the closest and the fastest to react. He did a flip in the air to get closer. Followed by ducking low and spinning on his shell with his bo staff out to trip the Kraang. Then with the inertia of the spin he hooked his legs on an exposed beam in the side of the hole in the wall. While half hanging out of the building, he caught April just before she fell to the ground, 48 floors bellow.

Raph and Mikey quickly finished off the two Kraang in the room as Leo reflects the shots from the helicopter, I run towards Donny and April to help them up. Unfortunately the helicopter takes off just before we could get there to help all the scientists.

As I use my claws to quickly cut the ropes around April, the banging on the door that we came in starts to intensify.

Once I get the ropes off of her hands she pulls the gag out of her mouth and looks up towards the helicopter that's flying away. "Father...", she mumbles with watery eyes and gets to her feet.

Donny looks at the door and notices that the wall is starting to crack around the hinges. He then pulls out the remote control for the Battle Shell and hold his staff horizontally infront of his waist. "No time for that. Sorry guys!" Then proceeds to run towards us, taking everyone by surprise. He clothes lines us and knocks everyone out of the hole in the wall just as the door behind us bursts open and Kraang flood the room. As we fall towards the ground, Donny hits a few buttons on the remote and in less then a moment later the Battle Shell was under us and a big blow up yellow rubber ducky expanded on top of it for us to land on.

With the fire consuming the building we had to leave as fast as possible so we all piled into the Battle Shell without saying a word.

Casey is very pale as he stammers out, "T-this thing is a-alive! I sware I didn't touch a thing, man! A-and it just started m-moving!" Making me chuckle.

Donny just rolls his eyes as he takes the driver seat, "Chill out, Casey. I just activated the remote control."

"Pretty hard to be chill when your brother throws you out a WINDOW!!" Raph yells as his face gets darker from anger.

"Hey my plan might have been crude but it was effective!" Snorts back Donny, getting a nod of acceptance form Leo.

"Effective? Those creeps still have my Dad!" Says April as she collapses on a chair making everyone go silent once more.

Mikey walks over to her and puts his hand on her shoulder, "Don't worry April, we will find him."

With that we head back to the lair in silence as we all ponder about how to save April's father.
