Chunnin recommendation. Smart Kabuto.

"You're a problem Naruto, you know that?" Sasuke taunted. 

"Why do you think you're better than everyone?" Naruto said angrily.

"Not Nova, just everyone else." He retorts

"Would you two quit it, your teamwork clearly needs improvement" Kakashi sighed. I did as well, today has been hella tiring. First we picked weeds, then Naruto picked the herbs the lady had been growing making a competition out of it;losing horribly. Then we picked trash from the waterfall, and Naruto fell in ;as he tried to air walk a few inches off the water.However, his attention span is still small ; and I decided to distract him hehe. Sasuke picked him out by his ankle. Then the last mission was dog walking. All of you expected Naruto was sensible and picked a little dog.They must be chakra ninja dogs, because naruto couldnt Handel it. I guess its because he picked the big dog, which he couldn't handle, so I glared at it with a quick flick of my eyes pressure ;and sent a mental message to not hurt the boy or else. Looking to the right I see Zabuza and Haku walking around, I smile at the memory of them coming to meet Lord Hokage. He had said that they could stay, as long as for three weeks they were monitored; to make sure they weren't planning something.Of course it cost me a favor too. After they were cleared they applied to be Jounin and passed, occasionally the three of us got together to eat ,and talked about things that happend and whats new in our lives. They spotted me as well and waved, I waved back. 

I saw Kakashi look up at the sky and suddenly get serious, "I have a meeting to attend, I'll drop by the Hokage office and give report" Then he disappeared in a flash. 

"Hey Sasuke-kun, why don't we do something to improve our teamwork? Just the two of us?" Sakura asked shyly. He huffed and put his hands in his pockets, "You're just as bad as Naruto. Instead of trying to get me to take you out, why don't you practice being more useful?" He said coldly and walked off. Sakura got depressed and Naruto tried to make her feel better by him asking her out. She wasn't having it. I noticed a small box trying to sneak up on Naruto, 'Its Konohamaru! I'm about to meet Panda-kun!' 

"I'm Mogei, the sassiest kunoichi in preschool!"

"I love algebra! Call me Udon"

"I'm the number one ninja in the village, Konohamaru!" 

"And we are the Konohamaru Ninja Squad!" I clapped when they striked their pose, "That was so great! You might wanna work on yours though Udon" 

"Hey Boss, who are they? The pink one is she your girlfriend?" Konohamaru asked.

"Thats Nova-niisan and sakura" "yes!" Naruto replied. Sakura got angry and punched him, sending him about five feet away. 

"Boss! What is she? An Alien?! Shes got to be look at that forehead!" He shouted. Everything got still ;when he said that about her forehead. Sakura turned around scarily, "Run!" I shouted and we all took off, Konohamaru in the front, and Sakura trailing not too far behind. Konohamaru looked behind him for a second, then ran into Kankuros leg, "That hurt" He said as he picked up the small brunette off the ground. 

"Put him down Kankuro, we're going to be yelled at" Temari said. 

"Hey! Let him go!" Naruto yelled. Kankuro only held him closer to his face. 

"Do what you want, I'm not getting involved" Temari sighed. 

"Let him go" I said darkly. Kankuro just laughed, "Or what Loser?" Naruto just about had enough, "No one talks to my friends like that!" He shouted, running up to Kankuro. As he trips Naruto I run up to him myself and punch him square in the face. As he was holding his face I grab Konohamaru, and fling him back towards Naruto. Kankuro grabbed the front of my shirt and held me up, "That's it!" He pulled back his fist and was about to hit me, when a pebble hit his hand. Looking up to the tree we all see Sasuke chilling on a branch. 'Tch. I wanted him to break his hand.'

"Took you long enough Duckling" I say. He just sighs, "How many times do I have to tell you to not call me that?" 

"How many times am I not gonna listen to you?" He ignores me, "Why are you in our village? You're a long way form home" He said while crushing the rock to dust. Sakura and Mogei squeal at the sight. Kankuro just got angrier and started to unwrap his puppet. 

"You're using Crow?" Temari asked. 

"Stop it" A deep voice commanded. Out of the shadows stepped Gaara. 

"I'm so sorry Gaara, they started it" Kankuro tried to explain, "Shut up or I'll kill you" Gaara stated. He then turned to you, staring at first then spoke, "I'm sorry for any trouble they have caused" I'm silent for a second, "You look cuddly like a panda?" Everyone was quiet as they stared at me shocked, even Gaara had his eyes wide. 

"Oh sorry about that, I apologize if that was weird, but back to the situation, it's cool, no hard feelings" I say, reaching over and patting his shoulder at the end. Gaara stiffened while Temari and Kankuro gasped 'His sand didn't react?!' They thought, 'Oh maybe his mom approves of me or just because I've got no negative intent'. Gaara went back to his normal face and commanded that he and the siblings leave, they were about to when Sakura stopped them. 

"Hold up, judging by your headbands your from the hidden Sand, although the Land of Fire and Land of Wind are allies, its forbidden for shinobi to be in another village without permission, state why you're here!" 

"They're here for the chunin exams Sakura" I state. Gaara continued to stare at me, I just look back at him and smile.

"At least hes not living under a rock." Temari sighed, showing her pass.

"Whats your name" Sasuke asked. 

"I'm Gaara of The Desert. I would like to know your name and the whitish silver haired boys name" 

"Sasuke Uchiha" 

"Nova, I hope we can still be friends after this whole fiasco, but that Kitty needs a leash!" I say while placing my hand on Gaaras shoulder. The siblings looked shocked again, but then Kankuro got a tick mark growling he said, "Kitty?" 

"Yep! Cause your hat looks like cat ears" He got angry, "Don't call me that!" 

"Then don't wear cat ears on your head" Gaara signaled for them to continue walking, and they turned for the final time and left without being interrupted. 

We were all at the bridge that Kakashi had said to meet at. Not too long after meeting Gaara he said that he wanted us to be at the bridge in a couple hours. Hearing a poof I look up to see Kakashi being yelled at by Naruto and Sakura, "You're late!" 

"Sorry, I got lost on the path of life" He said as a lame excuse, "Liar!" They shouted. 

"I know this is sudden, but I've recommended all of you for the chunin exams. Here are you application forms, the choice is entirely up to you, if you want to take it, meet in room 301 on Friday" After saying that he poofed of again, leaving us alone. 

I had just left Ichirakus after eating with Naruto in celebration for getting recommended for the exams, he stayed to eat more while I wanted to go home to rest. I notice a old lady near our apartment, knowing it was Iruka I rush up to him, "Hey Iruka- Sensei, what ya doin?" He whipped to me in surprise, "How did you know?" I chuckled,

"You smell like ramen, your chakra signiture, Also since you eat ramen almost as bad as Naruto. The smell is really strong, so I could tell it was you. Anyway, goodnight Sensei!" I could see him blush a bit in embarrassment, before I turn around and run into the apartment.

At 5 in the morning you could see me all dressed ,and ready to go do my daily morning exercises. 'okay so how should I prepare for the exams. I think I should bring a cyborg puppet, and maybe play a prank on orochimaru.'

An hour goes by and finally naruto is awake, we eat then go to the first testing area. Everyone but Sakura was here, I could tell Sasuke was getting very agitated. She finally ran up to us, saying that she had to get ready for today. We all walked up the steps to the second floor, seeing a large crowd surround the two kids in front of the door. I see Lee being bullied by Izumo and Kotetsu. 

"Please let us in" TenTen pleaded. Izumo went to punch her put Sasuke caught his fist, "You don't want to mess with me, and reverse this genjutsu" People started to mutter, "I bet you were the first to notice Sakura." I say. She was caught off guard for being put on the spot but nodded, "It was very obvious" The number on the door turned to 201, after the jutsu was released. Izumo went to attack Sasuke but Lee came in between them, and block both of their attacks. Sasuke was shocked and I cheered.

"Hey lee that's a good way to show how youthful your are?" lee walks closer

"Youth!" Lee said dazed, I stuck up my thumb, "Yep! Go youth!" I shout. Lee gains sparkles again and puts his fists in the air, "Youth!" "Youth!" I shout back. I always loved Lee and Gai having a youth match in the show. I mean what's a better way to have people stop looking at you , then to make them regret it.

"Oh god not again." TenTen muttered. Sasuke pulled me back again ,and we started to walk away when Neji stopped us, "You two, what are your names?" 

"Isn't it common courtesy to give your name first?" I hit Sasuke's before answering, "I'm Nova, and this guy with the stick up his but is Sasuke Uchiha" Neji looked at me wierd before walking off. The team continued to a big room, when Lee came running up in front of Sasuke. 

"I challenge you to a fight!" 

"Why is it always Sasuke?! I'll fight you!" Shouted Naruto, Lee shook his head, "I have no interest in fighting you, only the Uchiha; and there is my eternal youthful rival Nova-kun." Sasuke frowned at my name, "What does he have to do with this?" 

"I must show him the extent of my flames of youth. As we are competing, to see who has the most youthful body. So far hes winning but with my training with Gai-sensei; I feel I have gotten closer." Lee said while getting into his fighting position. 

"This will be over quickly" Sasuke muttered while opening his eyes to reveal his sharingan. Both Sakura and Naruto were shocked when he still got beaten(He has on his weights, also I just started them on gravity seals.), but more shocked ,at the sight of the giant turtle appearing in the middle of the room. The turtle scolded Lee and Gai jumped in front of Lee and punched him. He then turned to face the group and I. 

"You must be Kakashi's students! I am Might Gai! His rival!" 

"Sensei has a rival?" Naruto asked me, "He does! And I am better!" Gai said for me. Everyone sweat dropped while I did the thumbs up pose, "It is wonderful to meet Lees youthful Sensei once more!" Gai smiled wide-er and struck the same pose, "That is right! It's nice to see the ever so youthful Nova-kun."

"I am! Go youth!" 

"Youth!" 

"Youth!" Lee decided to join in. Naruto had to drag me away from the two green suited boys, and walk up the steps; only to meet Kakashi at the top of them, "I'm glad you all of you decided to take the exams." 

"Are you kidding?! I wouldn't miss this for the world!" I shout.

"What do you mean Sensei?" Sakura asked.

"Only teams of three or four can participate, I said the choice was up to you, so you two wouldn't get pressure from the boys to come" 

"What if two of us chose not to?" she asked. 

"Then it would of ended here, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Nova I'm glad you came, I couldn't be prouder." He turned and opened the door for us. The room was full of older genin, but also our fellow classmates. 

"Oh Sasuke, how I missed your good looks" Ino greeted while clinging to his arm, "Back off him Ino-pig!" Sakura shouted.

 "Hey Ino" I said while waving, "Oh hi Nova-kun, didn't see you there" 

"Nova!" I turned to see Kiba, as well as Shikamaru, Shino, Choji, and Hinata. 

"Hey shika!" I yelled happily. Running up to him I had my arms open in a hug, but when I came closer Akamaru winned and peed on kiba.As he was inside his jacket. "WHAT THE HELL AKAMARU" 'Hahaha well tbh I dont think he mind's though, hes got to be used to it' "Sorry I forgot; that animals tend to be scared of me." 'Ever since I unlocked my 5 tomoe these animals are scared or love me.Maybe it's because the Animal path and human path ;deal with animals and souls.'

Kiba hears that and growls and huffs then goes to sit down in the way back. Everyone else was laughing or saying "ewwwwww"

"Oi now I'm going to have to smell him for the rest of the day, troublesome." Shikamaru groaned from the side. I walked over to him and wrap my arm around his shoulder, "Hey Shika, hows it going? Anything new going on?" He put an arm around my shoulder. 

"W-what are you doing?!" 

"You rookies shouldn't be so loud, you're catching unwanted attention" Everyone turned to the voice and see Kabuto. Also looking around we see the whole room of genins frowning at us. 

"Who are you?" Ino asked. 

"I'm Kabuto Yakushi, this is my seventh time taking the test, they're held twice a year, so this is my fourth year" 

"Wow, so you're an expert, can you give us any tips?" Naruto asked excitedly. 

"Some expert he hasn't passed yet" I say while glaring at him. 

"You know what they say, seventh times the charm" 

"Literally no one says that" I say, he ignores me, "I can help you guys with my info cards, they're chakra coded, so I have any shinobi information, do you have anyone in mind?" 

"Rock Lee of the Leaf, Gaara of the Desert" Sasuke then looked over at me, "And Nova" 

"Sasuke if you wanted to get to know me better, you should of just asked." I say while pinching his cheek. 

"You're no fun you already know their names. Rock Lee is a year older than you guys, he's very skilled in Taijutsu but poor in Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, his teammates are Neji Hyuga and TenTen." He pulled out another card, "Gaara of the Desert is a genin from the hidden Sand, It says hes never gotten a scratch from his missions, his teammates are Temari and Kankuro, watch out for them" I felt eyes on me and I turned my head, to see the Sand Siblings staring at me. I stick my hand up and wave, "Hey Gaara! Hey Kitty!" Gaaras eyes seemed to soften a bit at me while Kankuro got angry, "I told you to quit calling me that!" 

"I told you to quit wearing cat ears and I would!" He crossed his arms and looked the other way. I turned my attention back to my group. 

"And Nova, showed up at the academy a day before the new students started,went on a trip to crystal city for vacation with sasuke uchiha and naruto Uzumaki, has went up against two jounin level ninjas; with Kisame hoshigaki in the area ;that went missing shortly after, is quite skilled in Taijutsu, but his ninjutsu is lacking or unknown."  There was gasps and rumors going around and people started to fear me. Even gara looked at me shocked, but I couldnt let this be.

"Oh that well we didnt know who that was, but he seemed to be hunting the shark guy. He had these weird eyes, they looked like an atom and they were red. Normally I would say sharingan, but they were too different from that. He said something about ,your position will be mine. Next I'll just have to hunt a snake; to get his ring. Weird fellow he was, oh I remember his name was Shin Uchiha. I doubt he's a real uchiha though, he looked like a monster from a scientist experiment. He is bald with a sharingan on the top of his head, and two more on the sides. Some more on his hands ,and I seen bulges under his clothes. Also the sclera of his right eye was pitch black, and hes pale white." Kabuto's eyes widened, then he quickly recollected himself ;all in a split second. Sasuke and naruto were stunned silent. While kabuto thought 'I need to inform orochimaru about this, to think he would come out ;from the shadows.

"I see.. well that's interesting, your lucky to have survived an encounter like that. Its probably because, he was only there for Kisame."

I quickly turned around and flicks them both on the head; with a genjutsu on kabuto so he doesnt notice. They recollect themselves, then naruto speaks.

"What do you mean hes lacking?" Naruto asked. 

"You need to update them cards ,because Nova is not lacking at all, believe it!" Naruto yelled with a fist pump,

"Of course I'll pass with flying colors!" 

"You think my teammate is lacking? The only one that is lacking is you loser!" Sasuke mocked kabuto, kabuto sighed and shook his head. 

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki, and I'm not afraid of you!" He shouted. All of us laughed nervously, while Ino told Sakura to keep her boyfriend in check. Then the sound ninja attack Kabuto, he dodged but his glasses still cracked. 

"But I saw him dodge!" Sasuke shouted. 

"You should also put in your cards ,the sound ninja are strong." Dosu said smugly. Kin rushed towards me ready to attack. I didnt care as I'll just dodge last second, so i hold my arms in front of me. 

"OW!" I open my eyes I didn't know I had closed to see a huge wall of sand. Looking over to Gaara he also seemed ,slightly shocked at the wall. 

"Quiet down you bastards!" Ibiki shouted, suddenly showing up at the front of the room, "No fighting outside of the exam! Do you want to fail before the test begins?!" 

"Sorry, we got carried away" Dosu apologized, but not before shooting me a dirty look. 

"I am your first proctor for the exam, take a number and a seat, we will begin the written test shortly" He instructed. 

"D-did he say written?" Naruto asked.
