Chapter Ten: A pleasure meeting you

Tristan drove to Luna's school and met her outside alone waiting. She seemed tired, and her eyes looked sleepy. 

"Daddy, where are you?" Luna cried out and rubbed her hungry stomach.

"My little princess, am so sorry, I was a bit busy today," Tristan said, carrying her up and swinging her around.

"Humph" She snapped at Trista and turned her face around.

"Daddy, so you were too busy for me, you call me your golden princess and am more precious than your job, yet you left me all alone in the school". She said sadly.

"Am sorry princess, okay how about I treat you to an ice-cream, huh?" He cheerfully said while tickling her. 

"Daddy, are you bribing me?" She asked with one of her eyebrows up. 

"No, I'm actually apologizing to you so you could beg mummy to pardon me, you see, she's probably boiling with anger and would chop my head off if she sees me." 

"Hahaha, daddy, you're scared of mummy. She'll spank your butt for leaving me out here alone. But there's always a way out!" She said with a mischievous smile on her face. 

"Ohh I see, you're trying to blackmail me huh, common spill the bean," He said as he helped Luna with her seat belt and started driving. 

'Daddy you left me and forget about me, how cruel. You have to grant me all my wishes today'. She said, grinning and enjoying her inner jokes. 

"Hey, what do you have up your sleeves, you seem to be enjoying an inner joke!" 

"Daddy, if you want me to beg mother, you'll have to buy me an android cell phone, a big black teddy bear, chocolate and cream ice cream and loads of toys, cloth and novels," She said with her big Grey eyes. 

"Oh no you ain't getting me in trouble today, firstly, no phone until you're in year three of high school. Secondly, normally kids love red bears or pink, but you're demanding a black teddy?who does that, huh?" 

"Well Luna is different, I prefer dark things and less exposing gifts, are you buying it or not?" 

"Just a teddy and an ice cream," 

"Whatever!" 

Someone in Seoul-Korean, A young lady in her twenties was pacing around in anger, she had silky black and brown hair, tall legs, not too big breasts, a flat stomach and a nice ass, we could call her sexy, though. She wore a flay orange sleeved gown and her hair tied in a messy bun, she was sweating since she closed her shop coming back to prepare lunch for little Luna. 

For some reason, it's been one hour past her closing time, yet there's no sign of Tristan and Luna. They normally take turns in who'd pick her up according to her schedule.

"Tristan, where are you? You aren't even picking up the phone?" She said angrily when she heard the sound of a car entering the house garage. 

He came out of the car carrying Luna in one hand, the other arm was a big black teddy in it. 

Luna smiled mischievously as she could sense her mother's boiling anger three steps away. 

"Dad, I don't think mom is in a good mood, look how's she staring at us at the door step, he-he!" 

"Oh no, Diana, I can explain!" Tristan hurriedly said… 

"It was because of a major operation and Janet coming to my office that held me up, you know I hardly forget things, but you see Janet, she comes with her large group of fans blocking my entrance, so I could only follow a longer route to pick Luna up!" Tristan said in a row. 

"Why did you get her ice-cream? Doctor Tristan, what kind of godfather are you, huh? she hasn't eaten proper food, and you're giving her sugar-coated snacks." She said as she carried Luna and have her a peck on the head and began to undress Luna.

"Am sorry". He said apologizing.

"Beep! Beep!!" Tristan received another notification that made him frown a bit.

'Come home and prepare for the royal ball by your father, he's awaiting your return. I hope you remember what you promised in exchange for the favors you asked for, dear'. It was a message from his mother.

Five years back flashback 

"Father, I want to ask you for something". Tristan asked his father, who was going through some documents.

"Yes son, what do you wish to say, dear?"

"Father, something bad happened to someone I care about, she was raped," He said, waiting to get a reaction from his father. 

"Oh, it's about a girl, huh. I sensed that coming, since Aryan and James are not the type of people that'd seek help from you, tell me more". 

"Father she was raped, and now her parents abandoned her, as it resulted in pregnancy. She's also been diagnosed with many internal and external illnesses.

I just want to help her dad, she plans to leave the Philippines but am worried she'll not be able to take care of herself."

"In what aspect do you plan to help her? Besides, you're a royal blood and you're not supposed to involve yourself in any scandal.

Fine, what do you want because I am guessing you've thought this true and I hope you're aware there's a prize to pay!" 

"Father I want to collect a massive sum of money from my share of my ancestral properties and leave for Korean with two special friends".

"Leaving the country?" The father asked, a bit surprised.

"Yes, and I need your help with your connection to make Janet's father let her come along as they refused her going."

"I understand, I will pay you and let you do as you wish but, whenever I call you to take over my legacy. You will come without refusing like you've always done!".

"Yes father." 

Flashback ended

'Dad, never forced me to do something against my will, and now I have to willingly follow his every order. I wonder what he prepared for the ball tomorrow, He told me I could bring a friend from the invitation.' He said as he looked at Diana, reprimanding Luna. 

"I'll talk to her when it's convenient for both of us". He said, but was interrupted by an annoying voice once again!! Janet. 

"Hello peeps am back home darlings, where's my little angel?" 

"Jenny auntie is back",Luna said as she ran and hopped on Janet's body. 

"I missed you darling, did anyone trouble you?" 

"Uhmm no except for daddy who forgot about me and left me in the school past closing hour's." 

"Don't mind him, darling, it's my turn to pick you up, and I won't let you down like some snug!!" She said while giving Tristan a side eyes and a hiss. 

"Welcome." Diana said as she hugged her. 

"How are you doing today? Any better?" Janet asked, hoping each day someone will put interest in Diana. 

"The usual",she said with a stiff smile.
