"Possibly the old man you're talking around could be a crazy person scattered on the street, don't believe in it, that he might have a awful purpose for you," Candy said on the other line.
"But what will be his purpose for me, I am nothing?"
"You know there are individuals who are truly like that, who have nothing to do but cheat people, and perhaps he knows merely that you are a huge fan of Jack Armstrong, so that's what he utilized to create it simple for you to believe him," Said Candy. "And what do you think is his motive for a young waitress like me, we do not indeed have anything to eat, my salary as it went to lease and other bills here, what can he get from me? " Charlotte said in bewilderment.
"As I told you, crazy people do not choose, right presently you do not know his motive, so be careful," Candy warned her.
"I know this is sound ridiculous, but you know what he said?"
"Now what?"
"He said I would meet Jack Armstrong this evening at midnight, where I met the old man earlier," said Charlotte. "Oh, it's dangerous, maybe when you go there, you'll be kidnapped, it's a trapped!" Candy exclaimed in the other line. "But why would I be kidnapped, what will they get from me?" Charlotte asked in wonder.
"As I told you, maybe he's a part of a syndicate, he wants something else that you simply do not know, for beyond any doubt it's dangerous. And possibly after you go there on that road, you'll all of a sudden get within the van, and maybe they will put you in woman trafficking. So you better watched our my friend, do not go there, you're being set up! A part of things like that are happening, possibly something else will happen to you," said Candy, feeling worried for Charlotte's safety.
"It's great that I talked to you, I'm planning to go, because maybe it's true that I'll see Jack Armstrong there, I thought that perhaps nothing will be lose in case I go there, but I'm frightened since it's midnight, so, I changed my mind," Charlotte said. "It's good that you changed your mind, do not you ever go, it's really perilous," Candy said. "And think of it, Jack Armstrong will go there? That is very impossible!" Candy scoffed on the line. "Yeah, I know it's very impossible, thanks for the reminder,"
And after talking to Candy, Charlotte felt uneasy again.
"Perhaps, I've just have been set up for woman trafficking, maybe I'm being kidnapped and be a sex slave, goodness no!" She said inside her and she lay down on the bed and covered herself with a blanket, because she was perplexed that the old man stalked her.
"Who is that old man? Why is he doing this to me? " Said Charlotte, feeling scared.
And afterward she abruptly recollected what the old man had said.
"But he didn't said that I ought to go there, he fair said that I would meet Jack at that place at midnight? What do he mean?" Charlotte thought to herself uneasily.
And she thought that she had no intention of getting to that street in the middle of the night. She just shrugged her shoulders and got prepared for bed.
It was ten o'clock in the evening and Charlotte was sound asleep.
A couple of hours afterward, her youngest sister Karla all of a sudden knocked.
"Sister!" Its exclamation while knocking the door.
Charlotte woke up and opened it.
"What's up? Why did you wake me up in this hour of the night, is there a problem?" she said as she opened the door.
"Jayla came out of the house!" Karla said.
"What? Where did she go?" Charlotte asked in perplexity, feeling stressed for her sister.
"She said she was just going to the toilet, but I saw her came out of the house, maybe she'll meet her boyfriend,"
"What? She is only 17, she already has a boyfriend? "
"Yes sister, Jayla already has a boyfriend, the name is Kevin,"
"Kevin, her classmate?"
"Yes, they're always hanging out after our school," Karla said.
"But she shouldn't go out at this hour, where did they gone?" Charlotte said worriedly.
"I just heard earlier that they were going to the coffee shop, on 33rd street,"
Said Karla.
"33rd street?"
Charlotte thought of it, and she remembered that she saw the old man on that street prior. She was staggered and might not talk quickly. Afterward their mother woke up, because she saw that Jayla was not in her bed.
And she was irate when she found out that Jayla came out without telling to her.
"Please, go and find Jayla, it's not good for her to go out at night, she is just a minor," her mother said worriedly.
"Okay mom, do not stress, I'm going out to find Jayla,"
Charlotte said and it swelled to alter dress. And when Charlotte came out the door,
Karla wanted to come with her, but she was stopped by her mother. "Sweetie, don't come, stay here with me, okay?" Said their mother. Karla didn't do anything so she stayed.
"Well, I'll go by myself," Charlotte gestured and she left. "Be careful, go home promptly once you saw her," Elvie called out as she closed the door.
