"GYURI, my baby, is everything alright?"
"I just miss Ahjussi and Sihun Oppa, Grandma," Gyuri lied to her grandmother. "Please don't worry about me and just focus on your recovery."
Well, it was half-lie and half-truth.
It was true that she was missing Jung Sihun and Hunter Park Dong-min.
But she wasn't fine.
"I'm sure they'll contact you again once everything is fine on their side," her grandmother assured her. "You should take a rest, too, baby. Dr. Sung is worried about you."
Gyuri flinched, but she immediately switched back to her carefree façade. "I know, Grandma. I'll talk to Unnie later."
After assuring her grandmother that she was fine, she went back to her room.
That night, Gyuri just stared at her ceiling while lying down on her bed.
It may look like she was just spacing out, but she was actually using her brain.
