1 Prologue-Unexpected Tragedy
A group of mercenaries travel across the forbidden territory called as the codex land, carrying a mission that would benefit the mankind.
Mikinue is a part of the mercenary called the Hawk's Order, they gained a lot of reputation by traveling different countries and regions.
As they traveling into the unknown territory, they stumble upon some ancient city.
Mikinue and the Hawk's Order carefully wondered in the ancient city, they found some artifacts, spell, unknown magic, and some uncountable gold coins.
But suddenly, the captain of the Hawk's Order
found a scroll, he immediately pick it without noticing any danger.
As soon as he read the scroll a black fog slowly covered the whole area, the Hawk's Order can't even see a dim of light.
And suddenly they heard some metal clanking
on the walls.
" Wha...whaaat is that!" the captain of the Hawk's Order said trembling in fear.
As soon as they heard that the captain is screaming, they saw an unknown entity dressed in torn black coat with a long scythe
on it's hand.
The members of the Hawk's Order immediately panic and started to run.
Mikinue also saw that unknown entity and he panicky rush and stumbles upon a stone, as Mikinue is stumbled he saw that the others are running towards the exit.
"Help...help im over hear!" Mikinue shouted with an injured leg.
The captain saw it and he was desperately to get out.
"You're sacrifice won't be in vain brother.'' the captain said with a smiling face.
Mikinue realized that he was abandoned, thoughts after thoughts filled her mind.
"Why? I did anything for the Order. Why? They...they abandoned me."
As soon as Mikinue desperately think about, why is he abandoned, The Entity appeared from Mikinue's back saying. " Humans only cares about there selves. You trust them don't you? Foolish man." the entity said to Mikinue with a smile. "Hahahahaha you just witness the true nature of humanity boy!"
"Foolish boy. Do you still trust human despite all of this." The Entity said slowly.
Mikinue tilt his head on the face of the Entity, Confused. "Why do you want to know?"
"I am a human before, just like you." The Entity replied.
"How did you go in that state?" Mikinue ask with curiosity.
"Just like you I trusted somebody that I should never trust before. I....I was betrayed by that girl! Days after days, days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and months turned into years. Waiting for the exact revenge I want it to be." The Entity said with anger and hatred.
"Foolish boy, you will die in the matter of time."
Then suddenly Mikinue notice that his stomach was bleeding.
As Mikinue stumbled on the floor, he didn't realize that a trap activated as soon as he land on the floor. A poisoned arrow peirce through his chest plate.
"Boy, do you still want to live?" The Entity said without hesitation.
Mikinue's thought about it carefully and said yes.
As Mikinue agree to the Entity, the Entity suddenly chanting ancient magic, one by one Mikinue suddenly feel ill, concealing his memory, As the Entity vanished like a bubble and Mikinue said slowly " I will never trust someone like that ever again." As he fall's asleep.
