With the heavy rain, everywhere was closed, including the airports.
The cold stings deeper into your chest and warmth was what you needed right now. But the worst thing is to be caught by that man, Yes! Your father at this very moment.
Being only a few miles from the majestically built billion dollar mansion, you were already freezing and the possibility of catching a cold was a hundred percent accurate.
Just sixteen in a cruel world filled with corruption was a load of insecurities.
The rain had no mercy on you, there was no shade and a desert would be better than this.
"Mother" your voice called softly but soon realized she was long gone, dead from being shot by an assassin.
"Mother I tried to leave as you always wanted but I failed" you fell as the entire body weight collapsed on your knees that were now tired as the rain force increased.
But suddenly, you couldn't feel the rain again, slowly looking up to see a black umbrella held gracefully.....
"What are you doing outside at this time with this?!" it was a straight direct question from the man who held up the umbrella, his Italian accent was wonderful and it blended with the words
"Papa!" instantly, your soul wasn't at peace as you recognized the man as him, Father.
"Get into the car!".
You entered the car without another word, soaked thoroughly and with an annoyed soul.
"What were you doing in the rain by this time of the night!" he asked you coldly as the car started.
But then was another word again that flashed into the tiny working mind
'lie'
"Nothing.... I was just wondering... not that I was trying to escape!, I was just testing a fact to see if it works" With a cranky reply and trying to make your voice bold, while hiding the visible lie.
"Are you lying to me?" that was it, life has ended! The face of death reflected on the car's window.
"Father no!" You said trembling inside.
"If you weren't my daughter, I could have chopped you into tiny bits for trying to lie!."
Those words made you squeak but what got your entire head confused was when he furrowed his brow with irritation written boldly on his face. After all that stress from escaping was in vain, lo and behold you were back to the place forbidden to stay...
Home.
The car stopped as you came out with Your father holding up the umbrella. The rain was terrible and that was the only thing which stopped me from leaving for good, but it helped in the escape plan in the first place.
So, 50:50.
Upon entering the house, there were already maids who were ready for action....
"Y/N" he called before you went upstairs into the room which always welcomes anyone
"Yes Father"
"If you ever try that stupid action again, I'll make sure more than a bullet enters into those legs of yours!" it was his final speech to you and also a very valid threat.
He always does as he says sometimes, Not sometimes.... Every time!
