Milking the Rewards

In another place, far away from where I stayed, there was a huge city.

It was the Islerus Empire. Located far away from the Lost Lily Island, and set to the south-west side of the continent of Aeconia.

Within the Empire's capital, three girls walked together in the castle.

It was my sister and her two friends.

"Aisha, have you evolved your class yet?"

One of her two friends, who had brown-hair, asked with a smile.

"Ah, no. Not yet.."

My sister replied while shaking her head nervously.

"But I'm only five percent away from completing the last mission to evolve my class."

—Class Evolution.

A type of evolution which allows the user to evolve their class. It consists of three stages of the evolutions—pre-evolved, evolved and advanced stages.

Though this type of evolution may bring the class' peak abilities, it cannot surpass another class whose rank is better than the class itself.

For example, an advanced class evolution of an advanced ranked class does not surpass a pre-evolved master-class, despite its capabilities and strengths increasing by a lot.

"Well, I guess that's expected as you have one of the best advanced classes, 'Mesmer'."

Her other friend with blue hair, Annie, smiled at her.

"But, I did hear something else. Something about your brother playing the game?"

She poked my sister's arm, wanting her to spill the beans.

"Ah, yes, Julia. My brother is actually playing the game, he started over a month ago."

Aisha smiled nervously again.

"Then, why don't you invite him over to our guild? We can carry him and help him become stronger quicker. He must have left her beginner village, right?"

"After all the beginner village isn't hard to beat.", she added.

"The thing is that I don't know where he is since we have not really spoken about the game with each other at all directly."

"I will ask him when I get the chance."

"Okay~, then speak to him first because I'm sure that our guild leader would want to also know about the brother of the member who also has an advanced class."

"Especially, since our guild leader is the only other person who holds an advanced ranked class other than you."

"Okay! Let's try this city's food first!"

The rest nod and they begin running through the city streets filled with rich numbers of people.

A new skill?

'B-class as well..'

I looked at the new game panel that had appeared in front of my eyes in shock.

My eyes trembled, struggling to contain myself.

I couldn't believe it.

The fact that I had received such a high rank skill despite being low leveling astonished me.

'Hoo.. let's calm down first..'

But I couldn't lose my composure now.

"After all, I passed the test now, right?"

I smirked at Aree in victory and the eagle which glared at us from afar, left the view.

"Yes, well done."

She struggled to admit defeat as the couple of words were in a tug war to escape her mouth.

Even if she had more experience, she couldn't accept it.

How I had more skill than her.

'I don't want to admit it..'

She bit her lips at the thought of me surpassing her.

"Yes, now this means that there are no other tests and.."

I threw my spear to the side.

"I am able to enter the man-made dungeon."

She didn't speak but let out a nod, still contemplating her defeat.

"Then, I'll go take some rest~"

I closed the door and left her in the garden, alone.

I sighed as the game panel appeared in front of my eyes.

「 You have completed the quest 'Aree's devilish training' 」

「 Calculating the rewards... 」

'Ho..?'

「 Rewards have been calculated. 」

「 As a reward, you have acquired an item named '10 Silver coins' 」

「 As a reward, you have acquired an item named 'Roulette Ticket(D)' 」

「 As a reward, you have acquired an item named '3 Mana scripts(E)' 」

「 Your strength has increased by 1 」

「 Your luck has increased by 1 」

「 The skill named 'Pain Endurance' has leveled up. 」

The rewards that I just reaped made my mouth water.

But I realized something that I had forgotten completely.

'My inventory...'

I hadn't even checked it for the past few weeks since I was so focused on training.

"Inventory, open."

Another hologram danced in front of my eyes.

「 Inventory (Fifty slots) 」

「 'Roulette ticket(E)' 」「 'Roulette ticket (D)' 」

「 '3 Mana scripts(E)' 」「 '10 Silver coins' 」

「 '10 Water bottles(F)' 」「 '10 Bread(F)' 」

「 '100 bronze coins' 」「 'Medium Healing Potion(D)' 」

My mouth allowed a breeze of air to flow out.

I sighed, remembering the rewards that I had yet to claim.

"Let's use the roulette tickets.."

I clicked on both ranked tickets and they appeared in my hand out of the blue.

"I still can't get used to this.."

I nervously smiled at the way the items appeared.

「 Would you like to use the items held in your hand? 」

「 Y/N? 」

I looked at the panel.

A smile snuck into my face and I clicked on 'Yes'.

Then, suddenly, a huge wheel followed my eyes.

「 Roulette Wheel 」

「 🛞 」

Many different options were on the wheel. Ranging from items to skills.

Although, there were a couple of things that caught my attention.

—Unallocated Stat points

"I didn't know you could get this from the wheel too.."

The rewards obtained based upon the rank didn't change.

The only difference was the quality of the rewards or amount.

"Then, let's spin.."

Rrrrrrrr!— 

The wheel began spinning swiftly.

The clicks of the arrow that travelled the entire three-sixty degrees slowed down, after eventually..

Di-ding!— 

「 You have obtained an item named 'Roulette Ticket(D)' 」

Ha.

"Are you kidding me..?"

I sigh because of the reward.

'I used a E-ranked ticket and received an D-ranked one..'

It was a higher rank which made me have two D-ranked Roulette tickets,

But it was still slightly disappointing.

Oh well,

"Time to spin two more times.."

Rrrrrrr- Ding!

However.

This time, the reward was different.
