"Ding Ding, is the woman on this canvas your mommy?" Li Zhenting contemplated for a moment before asking.
Since Shen Mei and Shen Ning were half-sisters and shared some resemblance, it would have made sense if Ding Ding had depicted their mother.
"No, she's not," Ding Ding immediately denied.
"Then who is she?" Li Zhenting's expression darkened once again.
"She's an aunt, a very beautiful and gentle aunt. I want only her," Ding Ding replied without hesitation.
Li Zhenting's heart sank suddenly. "Do you know her?" he asked immediately.
As Ding Ding began to speak, he noticed his father's intense gaze, as if trying to trap him with his words. The clever little boy dropped his coloring pen, stood up, and shouted, "I don't know her."
