Chapter 3

Blossom stares at her stunt double fight off the 'bad guys'. Talk about a pain.

"I thought you did your own stunts?" Aegis walks over with a cup of warm water.

"Not villain like enough of me. We get along well, it's just my company forces her to say the complete opposite" Blossom hums.

"Here" Aegis hands her the cup and she hums. "Did the director add any romance scenes in?"

Blossom stares at the girl fighting. "No, he told me that we would be recording all the romance scenes after we've recorded the other scenes"

"Shall we go on a date then?" Aegis smiles. "We need to get along with each other so that the romance is convincing right?"

Blossom nods unconsciously. "Sure. Don't disappoint"

Aegis spends the rest of the afternoon stressing over where to take Blossom. The two weren't allowed to go anywhere public, but Blossom didn't seem to like expensive places. Ah well, no one really recognizes her when she doesn't have her usual makeup on so going barefaced would be an option.

"Have you decided?" Blossom stares at Aegis and Aegis grins.

"Of course! Be sure to remove all your makeup first though, no one recognizes us barefaced and since it's sunset, no one would be confused as to why we're wearing bucket hats and masks. Be sure to wear brown contacts and put your hair up in the hat." Aegis grins.

"Ah alright" Blossom does as he instructs and Aegis puts on a bucket hat.

"Do you have hair dye?"

"I have temporary hair dye in the drawer there" Blossom pulls open a drawer and Aegis dyes his tips.

"Ready?" Aegis fixes his hat and Blossom puts her mask on.

"Let's get going" Aegis leaves the apartment complex with an arm around Blossom's waist and heads over to the night market.

Blossom spends the night getting to know Aegis better. She finds out that he likes action movies and shooting games. She learns that he likes it better when the sun rises and the warmth of the day spreads through his whole being. He likes it better when he takes a morning jog in his neighbourhood with ice crystals in the air. He's vibrant, and he shines like the sun that flowers tend to steer towards.

Aegis is amazed at the girl before him. She's far different from how the media described her and she was just as her name suggested. She was pure, and perfect. He's in awe at how she likes waking up to warm covers and a cup of tea in the morning instead of waking up to cold sheets and coffee. He finds that she likes her dog Zero just as much as she likes the stray cat she named Chonko outside her home. She's brilliant, she's elegant yet so incredibly playful.

"What a cute couple!" An old grandma laughs and Blossom flushes red.

"Thank you granny" Aegis smiles and the grandma gasps.

"Young man! You two should consider being models! Both of you are so attractive!" The granny fawns and Blossom laughs awkwardly. "My husband and I used to model when we were young! You two should become the couple of the industry!"

"A-ah" Blossom stutters.

"Granny! What a wonderful idea! I'll talk to my darling over here about it. She's rather shy in general" Aegis beams and the granny opens her mouth to speak before another voice rings out.

"Darling, don't bother those two on their date" her husband appears and prepares to drag her off.

"Don't they remind you of us?" The granny smiles.

"In a way" the grandpa smiles. "Don't let her slip away young man"

Blossom hides against Aegis' chest and he laughs. "Of course gramps"

The old couple heads off and Blossom whines against his chest. "Why"

"Well, do you not like me?" Aegis pouts and Blossom scoffs.

"I like you, but I'm not willing to date you"

"Why is that" Aegis smirks and Blossom rolls her eyes.

"Why would I? I'm the villainess. I'll steal you once you start dating Cyra or something" Blossom grumbles.

"Why can't you date me? What's stopping you?"

"An angel and a devil? You're kidding me" Blossom scoffs. "I'd much rather be the middle woman who tears you two apart"

"Ah but what if I want to skip the villain stuff and just date you?"

"Eh? No way, that's boring for a girl like me"

"Well, I'll be sure to make you change your mind after the drama" Aegis smiles and a gust of wind passes Blossom.

"Spring" Blossom mumbles.

"Huh?"

"It's the season of cherry blossoms and pink. It brings memories of your childhood confessions and notes passed around class. Pink roses are gratitude, grace, joy. It's pure and it's a color chosen to represent something cute. But it also reflects a girl, so it shows that there are plenty of things that can't be taken for granted. Spring gives us cherry blossom confessions and first loves. It also gives if freshly bloomed flowers and morning dew" Blossom notes.

"Then if you were spring then I'd be?" Aegis tilts his head slightly and Blossom thinks.

"Fall. It's vicious with it's winds, and it brings us typhoons and rain. It's a nightmare for some. But fall also bring us a bountiful harvest. It brings us colourful trees and gorgeous sunsets. It gives us a taste of home and warmth during thanksgiving. It's full of hard work and gracious afternoons. But it gives us plenty in return." Blossom hums.

"My my, how wordy" Aegis smirks and Blossom laughs.

"Then what would I be?"

"A pink rose" Aegis snaps his fingers and holds a rose in front of Blossom's face. "A rose of joy and a rose that brings beauty wherever it goes. It isn't used for confessions, but it's used as a sign of enjoyment. That's enough to capture you isn't it?"

Blossom laughs and Aegis hears bells ring in the distance. A laughter comparable to wind bells huh? How cute.
