5.5 This mesenger is a dark angel
Meng and Renjun came back from their outing, angry. They left so Meng could resign from his job and get new wardrobes. They walked to Meng's room, empty-handed.
Once they entered the room, they saw Atlas leaning against the fireplace. Meng was surprised that there was a lit fire. He quickly stopped thinking about it, when he thought about his humiliation at the high-end store.
Meng looked at Atlas and seethed:
"Atlas, why aren't our credit cards working?"
Atlas innocently asked:
"What do you mean?"
Renjun yelled:
"We went to buy new clothes for our time at the court, but every card was rejected! The seller cut all of them to pieces."
Renjun is already angry about what Atlas did to Dayou, and now he had to be humiliated, in front of all those rich vampires. The seller destroyed their seven credit cards! That fool Atlas must've done something without realizing, he would put them in that situation.
