3.17 This messenger's retaliation
Storm stood up and ran after Atlas. He slipped between the elevator's doors before they closed. Storm asked angrily:
"Atlas what happened?"
Atlas answered with a question:
"Shouldn't I ask you that? How can I name you president, when you stole funds from the company? Wouldn't I be showing bias to ignore that, just because you are my father?"
Storm opened his mouth to say something, but he didn't know what to say. He is right.
"Atlas I worked hard for the past three years to help you run the company, you can't fire me like that."
Atlas asked:
"The information of you stealing funds was about to be known, I had to fire you or it would've destroyed Ryker Dig's clean reputation. It isn't what you want, right?"
Atlas tilted his head looking at him intently, Storm looked back silently. If he says anything, it would prove that he only wants the president's chair. Atlas would see right through him, as foolish as he is.
Atlas proposed:
